Back from the shops. Why do they bother opening late if they have no checkout staff on . Took me ages to put through the weeks shop on self scan, all £76 of it :mad:. Anyway it took my mind off things, and I haven't had a drink, making 6AF please Shaggy.LBM Dec 10. Total unsecured debt £41176  Nov 12 Debt Free Thanks Mum x RIP x

Morning folks
6 AFD's please Shaggy
Wednesday was not a very good day. Looks like I'm out of work from September. At least its given me plenty of time to look for other things and think about the future. I was exhausted when I got home and it was definitely a night when I'd have come home and drank a full bottle of white. Thankfully I didn't, I had an early night and felt much better for it the next day.
I know that there is no point worrying about work because whatever happens will happen whether I worry myself to death about it or not!
Tomorrow will be a full 4 weeks AF for me!
Welcome aboard newbies.
Have a good weekend folks.

Morning all
Lala - sorry to hear about your job. Fingers crossed for you finding another one. Well done on not diving into a bottle of wine (which probably would have been my response!)
Rachel - have a :grouphug:. Sounds like you need one.
Shaggy - 5 for me please!
Stayed AF last night - mainly due to falling asleep at 7.30pm whilst Piglet was dropping off, and not waking up till 9pm!:rotfl:Had no alcohol in the house though which seems to be key to me. Not planning on buying any this weekend either.

Good morning all, I survived the count yesterday, and even more courageously I survived the family shenanigans. My elder sister was doing her impersonation of the oldest rocker in town, eyes twisted and food all down her front. It used to be entertaining, it's a bit sad now. I was physically on my last legs so left early. Got a couple of texts when I got home to say that an impending new arrival had been announced and I had missed the champagne. I wish I hadn't missed the announcement, but I was too knackered to speak by 9.30. I didn't feel that I had missed anything by not having champagne. The headache the next day was always particularly bad if ever I drank Champagne. worse than drinking cheap vodka.
Lala, we are both at the 4 week milestone, shall we set up a mutual appreciation society?! We can spend the day patting each other on the back. On a more serious note, I didn't think I would get this far, and seriously contemplated AA at one stage. The help of you great people on this forum and a little bit of self belief has meant that I have achieved my goal.
Have a great day y'all

Morning all! Saturday 8.30 and a very clear head, hurrah! Working on the polling station was a trifle bring but money for sitting around all day can't be a bad thing! Shaggy I'm on 6 AFD's in May now, and not planning to have any this weekend. Bearacus, I did manage 4 for the challenge, thanks.
Enjoy the weekend everyone, it's raining here but it's quite a relief for the poor grass!0 -
Morning all
Sorry no update from me Shaggy, had a very stressful week in the 1972 household, hoping that next week things will start to get back on track for me. Normality is just around the corner
Hope everyone's well?
