    Afternoon all,

Lovely warm day here, clothes having a lovely time on line, think I'll leave them out overnight, makes a difference I think.

JackieG...congratulations to you and all who are losing weight...haven't weighed myself for a month....that tells its own story does it not??

Hester....trust that you will not forget your crystal ball in future...what are you like..

Not sure why, but my back has been acting up for the past week, meant to do some swimming practice but just didn't feel like it....hope that lesson goes well to-night, really want to do it....thought swimming was good for back.

Dinner to-night is roast stuffed pork steak, using up my wild garlic as much as possible as I don't think its something you can keep...see some self-seeded plants so might pot up a couple of them and see how they go for later in year. Having baked spuds and roast carrots, onions and sweet potato too and made a fruit sponge ( fruit from freezer) to have with ice cream as pudding.

NPM....sorry to hear that you are not well, hope that you manage to give up work at end of year, you work very hard at home IMHO and deserve not to need to go out to work as well.

OH been out tidying the back garden, lawns all need mowing but have only now got rid of tree that fell last year some time....why can't I remember anything anymore, think it was October sometime. He has also finally turned off greenhouse heater, so some electricity saved at least.

Not knitting as much as I should but just have short sleeves and collar to do on DD3's jacket that she wants to bring to Perth (why I ask myself?).

Have a good evening everyone, hope that it is good for all.

Hope everyone had a good afternoon.

Brood out of school at 3.30 today. Walked them to the hairdressers and they have all been tidied up (Grandad will be happy :)) Though DC1 was in tears because he is trying to grow his hair, she only took a centimetre off and shaped it a bit but he thought he had been shorn. I think he looks gorgeous.

Just got in and the brood have stripped off and lept into the bath :D to wash off the hair. They are loving their bathroom, especially having their own hooks. Have bunged some jacket spuds in the micro and the stew smells yummy. Just going to dish up and get them down to eat.

Just finished tea and swiping the kitchen,What a gorgeous day.DNiece walked over from her house with the dog,I met her half way.She only has 3 weeks to go,but thought the exercise might get the baby engaging :D DS2 and her were comparing notes on being expectant parents. He offered her a lift home but she declined,so again I walked part way with her, then came back and finished her travelling changing mat I am making for her.

Going to take my cuppa in front of the telly now-have a good evening..

    Evening everyone

where does the day go? Went to craft club this morning, I have managed to master French knots, I am so proud. My embroidery is still a slow work in progress. Went to get milk, bread & petrol (now wish I had waited for the petrol). Got a hot cross bun loaf which was reduced as I love it, tried making fruit bread in my bm but it's just not the same. Has anyone got a recipe for a panasonic that tastes like hot cross bun loaf?

Os today wm & dw on & emptied, washing on line. Floors
swept, kitchen worktops cleaned again! Was given several cuttings so have put them in water till tomorrow. Dog has been walked. Spent an hour in the garden, I'm trying to dig out a flower bed which is currently full of weeds, brambles and ivy. Nearly done a third now, it is about 5ft x 5ft roughly. Want to plant some shrubs in it.

HH - how ridiculious, where is common sense
    these days.
Bitsy - I want to go to forest school(stamps feet) it sounds really good fun.
NPM - hope you feel better soon.
TigerFeet - well done on all your hw.

Sorry if I have missed anyone. Hugs to anyone that needs/wants one. Take care.

    TT

Nice to be back with you all. Thought I was a "gonner" this afternoon as had a bad reaction to a drug given during my scan. Ended up with resus around me:eek::eek::eek: Frightened the life out of Kids Dad who was waiting outside and myself. Got to laugh really or I would cry. The OS bit is that I love and appreciate my family and my cosy bed as Im tucked up in it right now :T:T:T Hugs to you all my OS friends xx
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

OMG Molly41, hope you and yours are all ok now and recovered from the fright.

Well I haven't been on here much at all lately, I have been reading sometimes but not posting as I haven't had much to say. That's all changed! I got a new job which starts on Monday, so am a bit excited and a bit scared all at once. The job has also meant my finding somewhere to live closer to that job (it wasn't really practical to commute from here, little bit too far and expensive to do every day) and so I'm moving house this weekend.

So with those things the last few weeks have been full of stress and palaver and sorting things out! No idea how on earth people manage to move entire family houses worth, I only live in basically one room and have only been there about 18 months, yet still I have been marvelling at how much rubbish I have! Took 3 big bags of things I don't need as often to leave at Boyfriend's for the time being, so there is less to move in the car. Another plus to the new job and house is that I will be much closer to him so we will be able to see each other more easily and often. Still I have so much just STUFF.

ETA - Errr OS... I baked cupcakes the other day to take into work due to it being my last week? Just plain sponge with ordinary white icing on top, and I put mini eggs on to decorate too. I'd wanted to put Smarties on but after going to about 4 shops there are apparently no Smarties in this town at all, hmph. Still, they did look very pretty.

Tiger feet - am in awe of what you have done today, so will be attempting to do the same tomorrow. Amazing what you can do when you put your mind to it! I need to put my whole body to it I think. 2nd dog now at neighbours (boo hoo) will miss her loads, but shes young and LARGE and my eldest wasn't understanding that she won't just stop playing when he wants to. She's big enough to cause him damage, and the way he was behaving towards her it was only a matter of time. I didn't think it was fair to him or to the dog to not act sooner rather than later.

Now we have just one dog who is currently sleeping beside the radiator - and as he's a bit confused at the moment I'll let him sleep in the hall with our bedroom door open - whats the betting I wake up next to him tomorrow!!!! Went looking at cars today and have managed to swop our zafira which was too large really, for a new model fiesta which is smaller, and still comfy. Plus its red!!! Chris (the eldest) has a thing about the colour red - he LOVES it!!! He came home from school today having decorated his face with shiny stickers?!!! Whats that about???

Have done all ironing, dyed the valance sheet for the spare room, cleaned the dishwasher and the kitchen. Have also put all the jumble sale items in the back of the car for Friday, so hopefully can get on and do 15 min bursts of cleaning tomorrow xxx

    Sleep well all OSers xx
Me, OH, grown DS, (other DS left home) and Mum (coming up 80!). Considering foster parenting. Hints and tips on saving £ always well received. Xx

March 1st week £80 includes a new dog bed though £63 was food etc for the week.
