Floor now completely clear. Walls washed. Skirting boards scrubbed. Mirror sparkly. Have put 3 hooks up on the back of the door for their towels and a hook beside the sink for the hand towel.

There is a chair in there that I need DH to move out as it is too heavy for me and then I can give the floor a wash. The chair isn't in the way so the bathroom can be used properly now.

All I need to do now is sort the bags and stuff out on the landing and put it in right rooms and places. There is a lot of clothes to go in the loft but I won't do that until I have sorted the broods bedrooms and sorted out all their clothes as I think most of it needs to go in the loft and the next lot bought down. Will probably start on the littleys room on Monday, doing like I have today.

I am really chuffed with what I have acheived today.

Landing sorted as I can get it for now. Another wash load in and one hung up. All the cleaning stuff put away.

Am now sat with soup and a coffee and a fairy cake :)

After lunch I will put dinner in the SC and empty and fill the DW. Then I need to go and fetch the brood from school.

    Afternoon all

Another glorious day here :D I've popped back home for lunch before uni. My colleague has taken his work kids raft building today, and they do this in the big dock outside my flat and I've just watch them all fall in! :rotfl:. mine are doing it on Friday.

This morning I went to visit some of my work kids who are on work placements. We planned to visit 8 of them. Of the 8 - 2 were 'sick' and 3 were late for work :( not a great start. But most are doing very well at their placements. It was nice to see them enjoying.

I went to get my parcel this morning. So glad I did cos it was a rose bush and champers  my best friend in Canada sent them for my birthday :) thankfully the plant is ok after sitting in their depot for 2 days. I'm going to write a letter of complaint cos their customer service was shocking on the phone, and it took them 20mins to locate the parcel when I was at the depot.

I'm off out for food after uni with my uni friends to celebrate mine and 3 other's birthdays, just to local pub but it should be nice.

    Very little OS today :o

    Have a good day all

    Afternoon

Not much OS'ing going on today my fibromyalgia is playing up today. I'm sore from top to toe.

Washing is blowing on the line, it's cloudy but at least it's dry.

OH and I went to the shops this morning - Waitrose, M&S and Farmfoods - didn't spend too much so pleased with that.

Just ordered vertical blinds for the living room 2 for £50. I feel we live in a goldfish bowl sometimes so had a look on line and think this is a reasonable price. Hopefully they will be here next week.

Well I'm off for a bath to see if I can ease my aching joints.

NPM you have my heartfelt sympathy re the labrynthitus ((()))
So, I have made an orange traybake for group tomorrow, think I will put some chocolate frosting on it.
Have also got two lots of bread dough proving for a loaf & some rolls. At the moment there is a loaf of donner meat & some red peppers & garlic roasting in the oven. Decided that seeing as I'm in the kitchen I would also make a shepherds pie & a spag bol for the freezer when I discovered there are no onions in the veg rack  must have been having a numpty moment when I did the shopping this week:o, hunted around in cupboard & found some dehydrated onions, so I am steeping them in hot water for a bit before use & will also use the water as a stock with my roasted veg for soup.
DD has just come in & said "mmm baking where's the scones?" so they have now been put on the agenda along with baked potatoes for tonights dinner.
My DS is also being a pain about what he is going to do when he finishes school in a couple of months, told me he'd filled in college forms with a mentor at school, when I spoke to year head yesterday she said he hadn't
Am thinking I will look on freecycle for a breadmaker/processor that can do my kneading for me as the OA makes it such an effort that it takes a lot of the enjoyment out of it consequently I don't do it very often:(
Enough rambling back to work:) hope you're all having good days.

    Thanks :o

It really needed doing and I have an alterior motive. It means when any of the brood wake up at 5 am in the morning they can go to the toilet in their bathroom and not come into our en-suite and wake me :D

Also means when littleun is off from nursery on Thurs and Fri he can play in the bath for an hour and I can get on with tackling the hell hole that is ours or bigun's or littleun's bedrooms.

I am just starting to get more mobile after my injury and I am trying to get some control in the hell hole that is my house.

    Bitsy, what is forest school?

Basically kids get togged up in all weather gear and walk to local woods. One of the TA's has been trained for FS and the kids get to climb, explore and basically get as mucky as possible in the woods. They've had a fire in the fire circle, done whittling with potato peelers, made pictures from the surrounding materials etc
Interesting to see the kids that hardly walk anywhere and never allowed to get dirty ;) My DS and his class have to climb along this massive fallen oak (supported by us grown ups) and their confidence and balance have come on leaps and bounds. There are some parents who don't approve which is a shame as they don't realise how lucky their kids are to be offered this opportunity. As they don't see the change in the kids they tend to just moan about the kids getting mucky or complaining about the cold.
All started in Scandinavia in the 50's so they've been doing it a loooong time.

Sorry waffled on a bit there :o

Gorgeous sunshine so going to head out into the garden to see how my compost is doing.
    Have a great afternoon :D

NPM - yay for the end being in sight xx and hope you feel better lovey xxx
