Capital one application messed up...

I was working from home today and got a phone call from Capital One. Apparently they heard my call to them to explain why and it appears I was told wrongly. You have to have the account for at least 6 months before you can apply which is why it was cancelled.
Doesn't explain it for all of you who have had it for longer and still had your application for a Progress card cancelled.
The man was very nice and said start of August for me (ie six months from now ish). He also said they're looking into the letters people are being sent.

Patient yes, but it is now taking longer than expected. You did apply a week after me and have your card already.

But yes, I shall try to remain patient, I suspect it'll arrive tomorrow

I have just received the credit agreement for the progress card.I applied on the 5th.No mention of the classic card.

Not sure of the credit limit yet.

I have operated the classic card for 15 months well ,and am still suprised that I have accepted after all the

comments here not sure what to expect.

Wait to hear if you're accepted or not. Just receiving the agreement isn't a definite yes. Anything could happen between now and getting the card. You may be unfortunate like some in this thread and your application will be cancelled. Or you may get lucky and get accepted. You probably won't know for sure until you either get your PIN or get sent your online login details.

did you sign only the online agreement or have you been sent an agreement in the post?, i ask this as i applied on the 6th and signed online and just wandered what happened next,many thanks.
also did you get an email response at all?
