Capital one application messed up...

applied on 7/04 got pin this a.m, does anyone know when i can set up my online, its along time since i got my first capital one card and cant remember how it went, thanks in advance.

you can access your account online as soon as Cap One have sent you your username and temporary password.

Question for all you lovely people! I have a Vanquis card which has £2100 on it (very silly of me I know, the card is cut up and I'm trying to do everything I can to bring it down. Naive of me not to realise the interest). Anywho I have just been accepted for a progress card with £1000 limit, do I do a part balance transfer so that I'm paying less in interest a month?!

I've had my classic card for over 4 years. Had a number of credit increases and is now on £1,200

Never missed a payment, often paid more than I had to but they always make a bit of money out of me on interest.

They have accepted me for the Progress Card with a limit of £500 and have said I can transfer £400 of the balance from my classic card to the Progress card.

I have received the pin etc, just waiting for the card.

Interesting that they didn't match the limit on your Classic card as with other posters in this thread

They didn't match mine. Classic is 500 an Progress is 300

Quick update - received my card in the post this morning - activated it and all fine - only now they tell me I can't transfer the balance from my old card afterall! I thought that was too good to be true!

I can keep both cards though.

hi there long time lurker, just had a question. i had a cap one classic card that i defaulted on and default fell off.
out of interest i applied to them again on sunday and was accepted with a limit of 200.

i had the problem with safari when it wouldnt let me sign the credit agreement online and called them the next morning to ask if i definitely had been accepted and that they were posting out the form then i would get the card

after reading this im thinking theres still a chance it might be declined or is that all i need to do>
any helps appreciated
