Capital one application messed up...

Yeah, be patient. I'm shocked you have your PIN and everything already. I applied on the 22nd and the PIN has literally just arrived and still no sign of the card.

Ok I will be patient.

Couldn't believe it myself when pin arrived so quickly - thought it was going to be a "thanks, but no thanks letter"

When I got my Classic, the card was the last thing to arrive, well after the PIN. But they did email me so I did know what the limit was and got the online bit set up.

I have the Capital one classic,applied on the 28th for the Progress online.Said the would do further checks.I got my pin on the 1st and recieved my card today if that helps.Thought that was really quick,also same limit as my Classic card.

You can NOT have two cards.

My OH has just got off the phone after applying the other week.

Already holds the classic, applied for the progress.

The advisor said that the application had been canceled as you can not have two active accounts.

This is weird!

I am not the only one who has had a definitive yes. Earlier on this thread there was a secure message from Capital One confirming that you CAN hold both cards.

Will bide my time and see what happens tomorrow.

Interesting though.

So I just got off the 'phone myself - my advisor (and his supervisor) both confirmed that their policy has recently changed, and you CAN now hold the Classic and the Progress Cards should you so wish! He confirmed that the card has been dispatched and should be with me this week.

Well as I said got my Progress mastercard today and just this minute activated it.No problems what so ever.Did say I already hold Classic card.
The advisor did say policy changed to me too.Strange mmmm.

.....there is something in today's Guardian (can't do the link) that a marketing company Capital One uses has been hacked into and names/e mail address exposed....
