I phoned cap one they said they still do not allow you to get a card whilst still having an account or had an account in the last 6 months. They say who ever told you that must have been a new worker as the policy on applying has not changed.

Recieved my secure message reply from Capital One and they tell me yes you can apply for a Progress card now even if you hold another Capital One card. Hope that helps. :D

Yes that helps. They told me different on the phone though. Guess some have the policy some do not have full info?
Any pin or anything received as of yet?

I'm literally about 4-5 days from being able to confirm this for everyone. I received my agreement to sign and have sent it back. The letter said I was accepted and will get the card within 7 days.

I was told by 2 different people on the phone that you can apply for the Progress card while holding the Classic. Both of them responded really quickly to my question (they both sounded sure of what they were saying).

Give me a couple of days and I will be able to confirm if this is true or not, then all the Classic holders should go and apply for Progress!

I called them. They said there is no decision yet but the application went through and I should hear from them in a couple of days. The guy on the phone said you CAN apply for a Progress if you have the Classic :j

Are you on the electoral roll?

Try again in a few months. I was declined twice for the Classic before they finally gave me one. Nobody can say how they do their scoring, only they know and they will never tell you.

Though, on a side note, don't worry about the post above, I haven't been on the electoral register in 3 years, so I don't think they care much.

    Good stuff :T
Can I find out my credit score?
You do not have a single credit score or rating. Different organisations take different information into account when working out your credit score and may have different scores for different products. (Kindly from Experian)

    Afternoon,
I currently hold a Classic card and applied for a Progress recently - I've received email confirmation of account set up, I've logged in and can see my credit limit so just waiting on card and PIN now.

Thank you for that info. Could you tell me how long it took to get the account info and what was the limit they gave you? I haven't received my account info and still have no idea what my limit will be.
