Was just applying for the progress card online and passed the initial assessment but when I went to sign the agreement, Safari couldn't open the page. I tried going back and trying again, but it still didn't work. Should I call them or just wait and see if they post it?

It passed you through then even with having a Classic :)
Can I find out my credit score?
You do not have a single credit score or rating. Different organisations take different information into account when working out your credit score and may have different scores for different products. (Kindly from Experian)

Yes it did. Whether or not this is something they will notice later on or not, only time will tell. But I checked everywhere, and I can't see anything anymore that says you can't have both.

It's a problem with their site and safari.

If accepted, they will send you the credit agreement to sign.

You can also call them and they will tell you if you were successful or not.

I called them. They said there is no decision yet but the application went through and I should hear from them in a couple of days. The guy on the phone said you CAN apply for a Progress if you have the Classic :j

Something I sent a while back:

Good evening, is it possible to upgrade my account to the Capital One Progress? If so how? Thank you in advance

Memo Thank you for your message. Unfortunately, we’re unable to upgrade your existing card to a Progress card. This is because the agreement you originally signed is specific to your existing card. To change the card you currently have, you’d have to close your existing account and make a new application. However, if you did decide to do this, we can’t guarantee that we’d accept your application because each of our cards has different lending criteria. I’m unable to tell you more about the criteria we use, as this has to remain confidential to be effective. I’m sorry for any disappointment this causes. If you have any other queries, please send us a further secure message.

Although slightly different to what youve actually done as I requested a upgrade as such

The guy on the phone may have told me the wrong information. He did sound like he may not know what he is talking about.

    But look at this...

    Application page for Classic account

    6on1g1.jpg

    Application page for Progress account

    sfgmc2.jpg

Why is that? Why would they remove that line on the application for the Progress?

When looking at the capital one online account, it does say you need to close one account before applying for another.

I don't know what to believe.

Maybe they have updated their website front end removing the 'no 2 cards' rule and haven't yet got around to updating the customer account page? Confusing!

Well I'll let you all know what happens
