    they wont divulge anything mate

it must be tbh as all creditors havent been in touch and are seemingly happy with dmp

May be they are just trying it on if it bothers you get them to prove it it should have some account number on it or wait and see what they come up with next
My latest one after threats of court action including attachment of earnings house repossession is they will step up collection activity
WOW is that the best they can do
What they seem to be a little unaware of is I have been informed the new EU directive which without a proper executed NOA the OC must accept your payment so make of that what you will and decide your way forward

    an update

spoke to westcot today and they have clarified it is the c one debt which is good to no.

i explained i am on a self managed dmp and that i would be able to pay my current £26 per month (he explained it needs to go direct to them rather than capital one is this correct?)

he also said they would accept a partial settlement of £600 he is sending this "offer" out by post tonight

HE SAID A PARTIAL settlement would sto p them chasing me but wouldnt show the whole debt being cleared???? how does this work please?

thanks for any help as ever

Have you received a noa from c1 / wescot??
Have wescot bought the debt, or is it an equitable assignment only?

If I were you I'd only settle if they are prepared to mark the account "settled in full" - it will not be pursued further, or the balance sold on to others.
If the account is marked as part settled / settled, it still shows other creditors that it was not fully settled, so can remain a detrimental comment.
They will insist that they can't mark it as settled in full because in effect it wasn't, but they CAN if they want to.
