All the shops I try to check stock at say "Unable to check stock at this time"

Is there a certain time when they open the stock checking or something?

I got one from woolies for a fiver, apparently they are selling them now for about 2.50!! be warned though, it may be hard to find one!!

I'll be very surprised if you find one - I've been looking for one for ages. Best I can find is in Gamestation for £19.99 or Amazon for £17.99.

im not a gamer, but im considering this offer...

is this a good price for a console thats approaching 4yrs old??

i don't want to fork out £200 on xbox 360... but will the price of this xbox go down further in the future????...

I'm in a similar position to you.I have never been interested in this sort of thing but am considering it as a little treat after a rotten year. (If the local shops ever get any stock that is!)

As people have said the price can always change (either up or down) but in marketing terms this is 'old kit' and at a lower price they will clear the stock and hope that some people will upgrade to the newer platforms in due course.
