Cant you order the console and pick up the games pack??? I get this option when I try (I already have one but was searching for stock). I have a set of the games reserved at my local... Think I will go down and see if they will give me them for nothing

Is there a customer services number I can ring that will tell me if any stores are going to get a delivery?

I was in Argos, Newcastle this evening while a stock delivery was being made and asked a member of staff to check if there were consoles in the delivery, needless to say there weren't.
The assistant checked the computer and said that no console deliveries were due in the North East until at least next week, and that with it being a clearance item there's no guarantee they will get any at all.

Good news is it seems that a lot of stores are clearing x-boxes now at £50. Might not get such a good deal with the games, but I think we're in for some good x-box clearing deals in the next few weeks!

Just picked up the 4 games for nothing from Argos.... Went up to the staff showed them the sheet told them I had one ordered for delivery but no games available from website. 1 quick call to check and I got the games. I didnt have one on order I just wanted to see if they would hand over the games

That sounds like obtaining goods by deception which is a criminal offence.

Not really......... Mate had ordered one to be delivered but couldnt get games so he gets these... I was acting on people being able to get console but no games so tried it this way to see if it would work and it did...

not really bothered by endorsement or not from people... deal was Xbox and 4 games which my mate now has.. does it really matter how he gets it????

wasnt really deception either... if they had checked properly then came back and denied me the games I would have shown them my mates confirmation e-mail (without the games) and got them anyway... as I said in a previous post I was curious as to wether they would do this or not without checking...

Bottom line seems to be order your XBOX online with the games...you will then get told the games are out of stock. print confirmation in case then pick up your free games from any store that has them...

Dont use the quick pay kiosk because that will charge you £19.99
