i didnt have much luck with argos, but i did pickup a xbox from game in thurrock lakeside for 49.99 and best of all it came with original splinter cell and a dvd playback kit. Also picked up a xploder from my local currys for £5 and all ready for soft modding...

Quick question though, between the ndure installer and the AID installer which is better and the latest versions?

My brother managed to get hold of an XBOX today but no games... Told him to e-mail me the confirmation reciept so I could get him the games.. Went back down and this time when they phoned they were told to get confirmation of order because someone had phoned head office and told them people were ilegally obtaining games... Guy jokingly asked if I had proof for the previous games I picked up so I handed over the mates reciept I still had in my pocket... He photocopied both and stapled them together with the reciepts for the games to show as a package... Walked out with another 4 games.. Looks like if you want to get the XBOX from another store or online you are going to need proof to get your games now..

I've just reserved at Halifax - West Yorkshire (Greenmount) store.
Both games and xboxes are instock.

I have a very disappointed niece who has put together her Christmas and birthday money and can just about afford this....if only we could find it!

tried 15 of my "local" stores for you hesjane - sorry none have the xbox in stock although quite a few still have the games

Huge thanks to albalad who reserved the console for me in Kendal. I can't get there but would have worked something out, but then mad_hatter pm'd me to let me know they were both in stock in St Albans. Quick reservation made....and a day out tomorrow. Thank you so much mad_hatter (need to find a thanks button for you)
