To have it as an app (rather than as your dash) then you just need to ftp it to your e:/apps/ or f:/apps/ directory and unleashx (or evox if you chose that as a dash, although I wouldn't - it's badly out of date) will automatically add it to your "apps" menu after your next reboot. :money: I would like to thankyou for your help Its great to have someone who knows what they are talking about, I am just trying to make a cross over cable as all shops are closed, Last time a girl at local pc shop sold me a normal ethernet cable I was novice but she was (D*u*m*b) :mad:

The said av cabels, erm check game station or cex cash gen etc, as you might get the 2nd hand for a lot cheaper etc.

And for others who are interested, pre-owned splinter cell are £0.98 in GAME at the moment, and the action replay device can be had from ebay for about 18 quid if you want the full hit (decided to invest )

Check Curry's / PCWorld for Exploder Lite in their bargain bins. Similar to action replay but cheaper. Paid £2.49 for one. Pity there's no XBoxes up here at Argos

Reserved XBox in one store (had no games) and reserved the games in another store (had no XBox consoles) just in case.

Anyway, went to pay and asked the SA about the free games and she said there is no mention of them. She also went onto say the the XBox was exempt from the 16 day return policy. So I didn't wanna take a chance on the XBox just in case it wasn't mentioned on the receipt after purchase.

Asked another member of staff about it and she was very awkward, saying you can only get the bundle if both items are in stock at the same store.

This seems to be the way now.... After getting 3 sets of games for people who had got thier XBOX elsewhere I was told when I went for my 4th set that someone had phoned thier head office and said people were ripping Argos off by getting the games without getting an XBOX. when I told them I had a reciept he went to phone and ask.. The word from head office was that they had to have both in stock.. As I was leaving I noticed the guy I had dealt with twice before and he gave me the games. I told him what had happened with the other guy and he said " I havent read the memos today so this can just be a mistake." he then told me he was leaving to be a manager in another electrical store and couldnt care less anyway.

I can get the games but not the xbox anywhere - not even on home delivery. Shame as its a cracking deal. Hoping they get more stock in
