Has anyone use this site below to unlock phones?

Someone was asking about unlocking and I just assumed you would have to go into a shop to get it done.

It says it can be done online for £11.95, is this an easy thing to do? I don't want to bu**er my phone.

If you look in the mobile forum so many people get stung by the online unlocking companies so you might want to steer clear - I'm sure i read that newer phones which are network branded are harder to unlock as they have heavily discounted the phone and obviously want people to stay on their network.

    Thanks.

I may well pop into a mobile phone shop when the 6 months are up and get it unlocked so that I can use my 3 sim card in there.

It's £10 for 3 months internet, the T Mobile will be £20 for 6 months but I will get 600 free texts per 3 months and free 3 to 3 calls if I use my 3 sim.

How do you check if the 100 free minutes have been applied? The CS person on the phone I spoke to said it has but I see that I'm being charged when I go into "Recent Usage" in MyT-Mobile.

The 100 free mins will be applied next month. You can check your credit& allowance by text ba to 150 for free. Here is what mine looks like:

"Your current balance on 09/04/11 is ?X.XX.Your current Allowance is:
    * Unlimited Internet"

This is a great forum with loads of clear advice on rooting a Pulse Mini:

I have tried the instructions on there all I get is "Waiting for device" under Win & Linux.
    Edit:
Fixed it I had to install the driver under xp - i.e. plug in the phone switched off then power it up and it installs the pc-suite ;-)
Now rooted and wifi tethering is on

Do you need to top up with £10 every month to get the 6 months free internet or do you get it even if you only top up once?

You need to top up if you want the free 100 minutes. No need to top up for six months free internet.

    Rooting Pulse Mini
I used Z4root (v simple). (Could not find it in the Market).

    Unlocking for €10
I unlocked mine via DC-unlocker. See post 7 for details. As mentioned in the thread the trickiest thing was the PC Suite part. You need to ensure that you have installed this on your PC first (not just viewing phone as external device via USB). There is a YouTube video on the DC-unlocker website to walk you through the steps.

I totally failed to update to Android 2.2 following instructions on Modaco, despite having done it successfully on an Orange San Francisco previously.

Thanks for that. Does anyone know how much the internet is after the 6 months is up?
