Just had DD in tears as she has realised that she has put on quite a bit of weight since she went to Oz. We were away at the weekend and Dsil's family are all quite heavy. I think she has decided that she doesn't want to be any heavier than she is so we are doing something about it. She has been really good and spoken quite openly and I shall help her. I will even go to the gym with her which I hate!
i had a similar thing with DD2 who is 15 , she was upset as she was putting alot of weight on, she used to swim competitively and when she stopped she put loads of weight on
anyhoo we had a long talk and she is now following slimming world and we have joined a gym together ( she cant join without an adult.)
i quite enjoy going now and i do feel better, more importantly DD is losing weight slowly and getting fitter
gers well done on the new job , does it still entail loads of travelling?0 -
Evening all!
Happy birthdays, hugs and spoons where appropriate.
Ive had a busy day, blitzed the bathroom and kitchen, spent a small fortune at the farm shop on meat and chilli sausages, came home and finished my presentation for work. It was a massive struggle, because as the day has gone on my left eye has been swelling, top lid is red and huge, sight blurred, and its flipping sore!!!! Ive poured a bottle of drops in it, hopefully its nothing or I may struggle to see to drive to work at 5.45am, fingers crossed!RIP Iain

Been waiting in most of day as sorted a new phone for £20 less p/month,meant to be delivered today but hasn't turned up, so will ring them tomorrow. going to miss the iPhone though but not worth the extra money.
Still in turmoil over what to do re ds1, I do want to support him but not so it affects my health & relationship. BB thanks for your views, feel very guilty if I say no, but know having him here would be a long term decision.
Sorry if I have missed anyone. Hugs to anyone that needs/wants one. Take care.
