Weighed myself this morning at home (I usually weigh at the gym but because of my Insanity workout, I drink a lot of water so decided to use the home scales before I did my workout)
61Kilos which is 9 stones 8 Ibs. If this is accurate, I'm 1 pound away from my target weight :jSECRET TO WINNING PRIZES:

Forgot to weigh myself this morning. Get weighed tomorrow at Slimming World, so will just start using this weigh in total for following week as confusing myself anyway. Can you put me down for the weight loss challenge please. I will be on the buckie team which is rather appropriate as I stay in North Lanarkshire which has biggest consumption of buckfast. For those asking it is the neds choice of tipple and fondly known as a bottle of wife beater. Many Scots MP's have called for it to be banned due to poor image it portrays.
I've been to Buckfast Abbey many years ago on a day trip. Amazed at your comment on the tonic wine the monks produce. Mind you, I keep hearing of strange drinks that I've never encountered. Was watching Jeremy Kyle last week and a young guy accused his mother, or mother-in-law, or girl-friend's mother, never sure which - of drinking 2 litres of Cassini a day, that was in response to her accusation of him being a smackhead i.e. druggie.
I had to look up Cassini. It appears to be an Italian liqueur. I had never before thought of drinking any liqueur by the litre, but people do all sorts of odd things nowadays.
I'm sure the Buckfast monks would be very grieved to hear of what is being said of their wine.Ær ic wisdom funde, ær wearð ic eald.

They are fully aware of the effect that "wife beater" has on certain chav sections of society
There was a whole program on TV dedicated to it and they Interviewed the Monks who where very upset at making record profits0 -

I know it's a bit same'y from the marathon challenge but I was thinking about a round the world challenge. The earth measures 40,075km in diameter. If we said that each km = 1 metre that we travel, then we would need to travel 40.1km to do an equivalent journey round the world. If we punctuated this journey with pit stop in main cities (like New York or LA or Toyko) it could increase the distance but also give us targets along the way (with a map) to aim for - sound fun or too complicated????
My other idea was that May is the month of the Eurovision song contest, if that could throw up any ideas of what to do (and no joke on the expression 'throw up' in this context please)
