DCs are home today picking them up soon :j:D:j

Moos mum - its stange because the negative people i have in my life inform me that i have to have stopped for 6 months before i am classed as a non-smoker! But then they are the negatives so .....:rotfl:

DCs are home today so we will see how i do ...lots of deep breaths and scurrying to my bedroom  I can do it i can do it  It may be a struggle as last night when i spoke to them they were speaking in some strange language......dropped h's, dropped t's, coyt instead of coat and wa-ter instead of war-ter:eek: strange how 1 week can change them :(

Ahhhhh....camping :D We tend to stick to The Dales  But next year i think we may venture to the seaside....Sandsend near Whitby...but inland a bit :D Can't wait :T

Payday yesterday :T spends so far (although this SHOULD be it for the week ;))

Groceries - £42.70 (£2.70 over but i did get 2 xmas prezzies, half price in Mr Bugs :T)

    Bertie - £20.00
    Lotto+5 -£ 2.00
Total - £86. 19 Change in jar ad £10 in the stash make sit £97 leaves me £7 for the week  and breath ...i can do this .. i can do this and breath :A

Need another coffee before i have a lurk around Diaryland then i will make myself look human, well almost :rotfl: and go and fetch my darlings :D

ps. dont tell DS i called him that he'll be mortified :rotfl:

    Have great day folks

Took poochy out for loooooong walk yesterday and met lovely fella out walking his dog, we had chat while the dogs were running round like lunatics :T It was nice to see/talk to another adult, even if we were just talking about dogs :p

    MEAL PLAN -

SUN - Roast chicken dinner (frozen chicken fillets half price)
MON - Cheese, sausage and potato pie with beans
TUES - Pork steak in HM sticky sauce with chips and veg

Bertie has asked if we are going out next weekend and i said yes but then i remembered its Bonfire night and poochy HATES fireworks, bless him he is a quivering, jibbering wreck so i will have to stay in, must let Bertie know.....maybe she can come here and we can have a girly night in? (imagine wine glasses :D)

I'm joining you in not smoking today Twizzle. We are running out of tobacco and there is just not enough money in the pot for wasting on stuff like this. So far so good, but I can feel the madness starting to kick in. :D (That's supposed to be a deranged grin...!) Evidently it's caused by low blood sugar and I need to drink fruit juice. We'll see.

For camping, the Cape Wrath and Durness area on the north coast of scotland is the most beautiful place I've ever been. Loved it loved it loved it. Go any chance you get.

How do you make cheese, sausage and potato pie? Would it work with veggie sausages do you think?

Have a great day. I may be back later complaining about needing to smoke!

OOOOOHHHH!!!! Good Luck Ani*fan :D right back at ya :rotfl:Yup the kids are home :j they are driving me to distraction already :rotfl: This is gunna be tough

Don't forget there is the extra oxygen too :D so you may feel dizzy!!! It affects my eyes for some reason!!!!

This sounds really disgusting but i think the phlem is loosening ....loads this morning made me feel sick
    Thats enough of that!!!!!!

Cheese, potato and sausage pie -

fry sausages, chop em up and fry off again
    Mash spuds
combine with gated cheese and a beaten egg (i forgot this last time and it does make a difference)
put in ovenproof dish and cook in oven for about 20mins gas 5/180

Please don't ask what the quantities are as i guess  And i dont see why you cant use veggies sausages! are they the same consistancey as meat ones? We also use smoked bacon fried off instead of sausages, do you have an alternative to bacon? Dont forget you can also add onion! And you can make double and freeze :D Does all that make sense?????

Camping, i would so love to take the DCs to scotland camping :D Its so beautiful up there :D Trouble is i can barely drive out of west yorkshire  My confidence has gone out of the window since i've been with xOH :o Cant believe it as i used to drive up and down the country in my little old mini, never even thought about it :o The fact that i dont trust the car doesn't help so as sson as i get the new one in May i am going to take the kids somewhere different for the day...possibly seaside :D I just have to get over the hyper-ventilating and panic attack :rotfl:

Sounds like you've got a "fun " day ahead with poorly child . Hope they feel better soon . I find it really draining when Moo is poorly .luckily I cant remember the last time she was Ill although she is a hypochondriac and has an ailment almost daily maybe twice a day :rotfl:

Your teacher consultations were great big :T to the twiz kids :rotfl:.

I'm dreading mine tomorrow as I am not entirely happy with the teacher I know Moo is doing very well and is bright and well behaved but she seems to be helping the other kids all the time and on some occasions not even finishing her own work but helping so and so to do theirs at the teachers request . I am not the only parent with this concern . Just feel a bit anxious as how to word by concerns ,coming across strong and serious I get a bit self conscious as I am a young mum, single parent blah blah I get the impression that people see me as a stereotype and do not take me seriously .

Never mind about the cigs what's done is done and as you say today is a new day

    Have a good day

I'm lazily lolling in bed  even though i have to go to work shortly :(

Major bodily/kitcheny disaster last night  microwaved my curry sauce to go on fishcake and chips :p and what did i do .....drop the bl**dy pot all over my hand/pooch then in my panic to wipe it off the pooch before it burned him i splattered it all over the kitchen  i mean how far can a pot of curry go.....inside cooker/outside cooker/back door/ washer/window/cupboard fronts/walls and floor/pooch and hand  Couldn't clean it properly as my hand was burning and spent the next 4 hours with hand in bowl of cold water or wrapped in cold cloth :( Its ok folks this morning its just abit sore inbetween my fingers :( so when i've finished work i the mammooooth task of scrubbing the WHOLE kitchen......need to check ceiling :rotfl:

Clearly i am not fit to be let out in the real world :rotfl:

DCs are at xOH, (good job as after last night they would have learned a whole new vocabulary :rotfl:) so no bonfire night here :T anyway as wimpy pooched hates fireworks i am having to stay in and comfort him  Bertie is coming over and we are having pork pie (award winning from local butcher ;)), mushy peas, mint sauce and parkin ...... wine and a filum :D splitting costs so not too expensive

    4 Pork pies - £4.40 ...how much???
    mint sauce - £1.45 ....ditto^^^^
    Parkin - £1.75 ... ditto^^^^
Mushy peas -free ...donated by Berties mum :D

All very expensive but divided by 2 not that bad :o besides which i haven't had to buy fireworks :T

Pay day today :D and i am doing a L!dl shop to see if i can bring the grocery bill down :o if it works i plan on doing 3 shops at l!dl and 1 at mr bugs in the month and eventually stop shopping at mr bugs altogether...well thats the plan ...we shall see

  • Morning :D

Is dull and cloudy here....that may be why i am feeling miserable

I had a lovely night on Saturday in between pooch barking and growling at fireworks!!! ets frend, bottle of wine and a good film, we watched 'as good as it gets' soooooo funny...i was crying i laughed so much :D

Dentist later ...... my gnasheroos are rubbing :(

Need to phone ebayer about picking DN birthday prezzie up, she lives rond the corner from me (walking distance) so i am saving on postage :j and fuel :j

Friend was supposed to me coming for coffee tomorrow but she has cancelled so my days off are my own......and seriously i have got to clean the bathroom  why oh why can men/boys not direct it

    Cash spends since payday -

    £20 - fuel
    £20 - Bertie (its going down :D)
£39 - Food (NOT the £20 i wanted to spend )
£5 - Bday prezzie for DSs friend
£9 - nikniks for DD and socks for me (both from bugs 25% off)
    £2 - lotto
    £10 - spend
    Grand total = £105 :( wage gone :(

Socks - i spent 10mins on saturday morning trying to find a pair that weren't threadbare or holey  so figured i needed some new ones :D

Smoking  I am ashamed to say its crept back up, not to my previous 20 a day, but still  and as i only have £10 spend for the week i have to 'get a grip' as they say and stop once and for all. I am sat here feeling sorry for myself, no spare money, no savings and yet i will happily poddle round to the shop and spend/waste/burn/ throw away £6 on a packet of cancer sticks  Rant over!!!!!!

No meal plan as such this week, still strugling with the chewing :( Pie and mash tomorrow and omlette and chips tonight ... i think

3 loads of washing to try and dry, why have i put 2 of them on the line? :doh:They are not going to dry out there!!!!!

need to get my butt of the sofa now and crack on, although have started reading MG various diaries and am hooked so maybe a quick read first :rotfl:
