Oh the joy....BP monitor up and running, beeeep, beeep, whirrrr every 20 mins  and i've only tangled myself up in the tube twice and the DCs have had to help me undress  :rotfl: i dont know how but my BP is lower than when i started this morning :j hope it bodes well for tomorrow when i comes off!!!!!
Didn't manage to have a NSD as i had to buy a packet of bolts to fit my roof bars onto car :j i've been waiting 2 weeks for m0nt bl@nc to send me some and they have finally informed me via H@!fords that they no longer stock them, customer service ..... BAH!!!! £2.49 spent on some bolts and a trip to edna and erics and we're up and running
We have an abundance of chooky eggs curtosey of the ladies so kids had a 4 egg cheese omlette each for tea, meanwhile i had potato salad surprise (left over pots, carrots, cauli and chicken mixed with red onion and pepper that were lurking in the fridge and a blob of mayo, parsley and paprika ... nom nom) the surprise eing there was meat in it :rotfl:
I must tell you i have an aversion to stripping a chicken carcass  up to press it has been my worst nightmare  Well not any more :T we had a small chicken for sunday dinner yesterday, today i have had 1 1/2 sandwiches AND i then stripped it and the rest went into my pot salad:T
Tomorrows tea is reduced meatballs in a homemade (pizza) tomato sauce and ribbon pasta
The rest of the week the kids are fed my other folk and i will have Jacket spuds and beans.
I have confession, i ahve been drinking way too much wine, not on an alcoholic scale but just enough to get me to sleep, wine is now saved for the weekend and has been substituted with........ Green Tea

Morning everyone
AWOL again!!!
Its been a busy fortnight in the land of Twiz!
BP 24hr monitor has been and gone ...thankfully most of the readings were OK so no further action
Finally been for blood tests as first time i went i had forgotten to fast  waiting for results for that, docs will only contact me if something abnormal pops up!!!
Big news of the fortnight is child careBecause of circumstances, friend with depression, grumpy grandparents and rushing about like a blue @rsed fly, i have had to find a childminder for the DCs  Thankfully a friend who lives just around the corner is a CM and had 2 places so the DCs start there next week. The DCs love her so i am quite happy for them to go
She will be picking them up from school and as she lives so close i can go straight home from work and then walk round to fetch them and i should save a fair amount of fuel :T Tax credits have been contacted and they will be paying 70% of the fees so i just have to find £15 a week to put towards  Will have to redo budget to account for it
Humph!!! I am sure it will all work out
Not picking the DCs up until 2pm as its Fathers Day so i am having a bit of me time ie. washing, cleaning and the usual tidying :rotfl:
Cripes all i seem to do is moan and waffle...i am not like that really...honest :rotfl:
I hope everyone enjoys their day

Hi Twizzle
Thought I better read your diary - gosh there are so many ups and downs.
I saw you mentioned earlier about DMP and joint debts, hope you have got this sorted. I am a Debt Adviser in my day job so if you need any help give me a shout.
Well done for reducing the smoking.
Bah  to an !!! of an exOH!!
Hope the chickens are ok and you are allowed to look after them. We have chickens, about 50 or is it more? plus turkeys, geese and ducks.
The reason that the chickens stopped laying after a couple of days is due to the shock of having access to day light and the fact they need to grow feathers to keep warm as previously they did not need their feathers due to the heat in the barns etc so this uses a lot of their energy which they would normally have used for producing eggs.
Tell Evil Eric that chicken poo is great for the garden, when we had ours in our garden free ranging the parts they spent the most time in grew back lovely and lush and other parts of the garden looked anorexic in comparison :rotfl:
Will subscribe so I can keep up with you.

Evening from the land of stupidity and blondness
DS 'has been on a school trip today' or so i thought  i packed him off this morning already, be polite, mind your manners, behave etc
Did he have a chool trip today ..... NO!!!!!! Its on Thursday :rotfl:
DD has feigned sickness today so i kept her off school, miracles of miracles she had made a full recovery by 9.15am  Now normally i would have packed her off back to school but as i was busy running about i kept her home and now she keeps coming down stairs saying she is REALLY ill......yah right!!! I've got her number and school it is tomorrow :rotfl:
Running about was visiting Bertie to give her her birthday card and wish her all the bestAlthough how you are expected to have a nice birthday when working 2 jobs and 2 1 hour round trip school runs (?) i don't know!!!!! Anyhoo we will make up for it on Saturday, Whiterose for shopping and tea then back to mine for copious amounts of vino :T Then i went to fetch The Evils and take them to the most expensive garden centre in the world to get Eric some fish for their pond as a fathers day gift!!
EE welcomedon't think my diary is very exciting in fact compared to most that i read its positively boring, but if i can offload and it keeps me on track then i will continue to talk to myself :rotfl:
As for Eric and the chucks...we are still locked outi am getting really frustrated cos i love them there chooks to bits they are fantastic creatures
It doesn't matter how many times i tell him/them that they are fantastic pets they just won't/dont want to listen WOW to having 50 or more hens :T and the rest
As it happens the childminder has chooks and a gay duck and the DCs are allowed to interact with them so i am hoping if we keep at Eric and Edna they will give in ..... for gods sake we haven't even cleaned them out yet, they have literally taken over  We will leave that now as my BP is probably rising rapidly :rotfl:
Had a scrummy tea yesterday, brisket done in SC, reduced cabbage and mash. We had enough left over to make Bubble and Squeak (nom nom  ) did some carrots and pored remaining brisket and gravy oer the lotGrand total spent £6 at a £1 a meal i didn't think that was bad, not as good as some - weezil - but pretty damn good i thought
Off for some very addictive gaming (goumet ranch and Ravenwood)on FB :rotfl:and then a read of The Secret that EE has kindly sorted out for meLets hope i understand it!!!!!!

Evening peeps
Not the most productive day
I spent most of it reading 'The Secret' and I GET IT :T Now i just have to remember the finer points and put them into action :rotfl:although it has to be said i have been walking round with a stupid grin on my facei will probably have to re-read it before it sticks in the old losing the plot brain :rotfl:
On the productive note i have had a NSD :j
Walked the mutt
AND tidied DSs room, moved it round and when he came home from school sorted out all his toys, which to my delight he decided to get rid of a heck of a lot of it...a bin liner full infact - need to go through it ll and see if there is anything i can put on fleabayi did notice some gormiti figures going in, i wonder if they will sell ..... mmmmm!!!!
Forgot EE with regards to debt.... unfortunately one of the debts i'm afraid will be joint until it is paid off  so i really must get organised re money management
FB calling hope everyone is OK
Twizzle x0 -
Hi Twizzle
I understand that you have a joint loan with your ex but you don't need to have a joint DMP.
You can have one each and both make payments to the loan.
I am not sure if you can go through the same companies for your DMP's as there will be a conflict of interest.
Have you posted a SOA yet?
EE0 -
Morning
Hi EE x
Thanks for reply, we are in the process of separating our DMP, both of us are staying with Payplan. The loans that are in my name only don't amount to too much but the joint loan is huge  I think i will be able to payof my loans quicker and then the rest of the money can be thrown at the larger loan, i think  I have pm'd you
Since reading 'The Secret' there have ben strange goings on in the world of Twizzle, nice but strange!
I have been invited to 2 birthday parties :T amazing :j as previous to the wedding i hadn't been out socially for nearly 2 years  It was my brothers friends 40th and i have been invited to his 42ndand my hairdresser has initd me to her 40th in sept
I thought i was going to struggle to make it to the end of the month financially and i am going to do it by the skin of my teeth so i am a happy bunny
All dates for weekend evens that are planned have fallen on the weekends that Bertie is freeWich might not mean anythingto other folk but to us its fantastic as we usually have to muddle through life
Apple tree is full to breaking branches point and i don't know how you tell when the apples are ready, i have spotted one that looks the right size so i will pull it off and give it a go! French beans aren't looking too goodwill plant some more and see if they are better. On a plus note.... Rocket and cut and come again lettuce are ready and being munched
Enough waffle :rotfl:

Gosh i cannot believe how long it is since i've been on here
I have come back as i need a serious kick up the arris!!!!
I am not happy with my finances, i am 'managing' but i want more than that i want SAVINGS, so i'm backIts so easy to fall of the :money:wagon!
Most of the spending has been on clothes, the dc's have very nearly had a whole new wardrobe so they no longer look like street urchins, m*talan and sainsburys (sale and 25% off) for the majority of it although for DD i splashed out and went to N3xt but cunningly combined the spend with her bday prezziesMe - a whole new wardrobe as i have lost so much weight (3 - 32/2 stone) even my feet have shrunk
The next big spend is FOOD! I have lost my way completelyThe only batch cooking i've done is soup, so as from today i will be oldstyling
I have achieved goals since being a single parent, nothing mind blowing, but achievements all the same, i have proved over the last 12mths that i AM surviving
Achievements......
xmas, taxed car twice, 3 bday parties, mot'd car, repaired car twice when broken down, lost weight, 3 lots of new clothes, school uniforms x 2 and 1 fantastic holiday (i even came home with money in my purse)
It may be a small list but i am proud of it
I now have a new set of goals, where as the achievements above are part of everyday life i have thought about ones i would like to do for me
1) Go for a cruise on a Harley Davidson
2) Go for a thrilling ride on a 'super bike'
3) Race for life 2012
4) Sue Ryder midnight walk
5) Buy my new to me car (should be around May time)
6) Take the DC's to the seaside
7) Have 2 hols in 2012
8) Go swimming on a weekly basis (1hr length swim)
9) New tent (old one broke on hols)
10) Have some savings (!!)
STOP SMOKING!!!!!
Will leave it there for now, as you can see a lot of the goals are down to money hence being back on the money saving band wagon
I have ben reading some diaries over the last couple of days and i will try and PAD (even if its only a £1)but into my very unhealthy saving account ....hey every little helps :T
I have a plan for stopping smoking ...will let you know nearer the time as i will need all the help i can get
Meal plan for the week -
MON - HM cheese, potato and bacon pie with beans
TUES - DCs @ childminder, me HM soup
WED - DCs @childminder, me JS with HM chilli
THURS - steak pie, mash and carrots

SAT - DCs @ their dads, me salad
SUN - Brisket in SC with veg etc
I am really lucky if i cant be bothered cooking for me i get free food at work ...not good for the waistline or cholesterol tho
I think thats a long enough post for now, if anyone reads it :rotfl:if not at least it will help me keep on track in theory :T
Pooch needs his walk and i need my daily exercise and great its absolutely piddling down, need to dive into the outhouse grab wellybobs, check for spiders  and off i goooooooooooo
