xOH has agreed to have muttly AND he is having the DCs 4 days leading up to the hols so i will be able to organise everything without them getting in the way

Brother has been informed althoug i dont think the other lady that works for him is going to cover all my shifts as she has a child and struggles for childcare :cool: Anyway its not my problem so i'm not going to worry about it
Why oh why was i wide awake at 5.45 am :eek: It supposed to be lie-in time even muttly looked at me in disgust and went back to sleep and he is still in bed now :rotfl:

DCs going to their dads today until sunday, free childcare while i'm at work so inbetween shifts and walking muttly i will try and get the house back in order :eek: i think i will be renaming the DCs Cyclone and whirlwind :rotfl:

Morning Peeps

Planted 10 dwarf french beans on Monday (or was it sunday, can't remember ) and so far i 5 that have sprouted :T i'm really pleased as they're last years seeds

Don't know why but for the last couple of days i've been feeling down in the dumps seem to have perked up today

Last shift of the week today :T

Busy week ahead picking the DCs up tomorrow, calling at mum and dads on the way home for thee DC easter goodies :EasterBun
We are meeting DB, SiL and nieces there ...dreading it as usually we don't buy easter eggs, we get a small toy or a book, well this year i can't afford that so they have an egg each (buy1 get 2 free ) i suppose as usual i will be in the bad books :mad: and it will give them another reason to look down their nose at me :mad:

Bertie and DCs are coming in the afternoon and we are having a BBQ :j we are splitting the cost so no great expense
Monday - a non day, relax and play with the DCs :j
Tuesday - Yorkshire Sculpture park and picnic with Bert and DCs :j
Wednesday - cleaning and washing bedding as i have peeps sleeping over after wedding on Saturday
Thursday/friday - DCs at their dads, me at work
Saturday - work, cupcakes and wedding cake to finish and set up, pick DCs up, get ready for wedding
Sunday - CHOOKS are coming :j:j:j:j:j

Meal plan for the week -
Sat - salad (fed up with stodge)
Sun - BBQ
Mon - HM Chilli
Tues - Easy tea, saus, chips and beans
Wed - DCs at Aunties
Thurs - don't know
Fri - Fish and chips (free)

Phew ...shattered just typing it :rotfl:

I am now trying to think of a way to turn this into a positive, even tho i was blonde i am naturally brown, went blonde as there was too much grey! So do i go and buy another colour and just change to a proper shade of brown?

:mad: Forgot to say i didn't recieve my HB on thursday :eek: its supposed to be paid on a Monday but its usually paid on a friday ...hopefully it will be paid on tuesday

:cool: Saturday postperson brought yet another council tax bill, thats 3 so far all for roughly the same amount, there are pence between them *confused* I wonder how much it costs KMC to print and post them, yet again wasting money :mad:

Looking forward to BBQ this afternoon, although the golden orb seems to be resting today Carrot sticks are done, onions are cooking and chicken drumsticks are de-frosting (will marinade half with HM sticky sauce:drool:)

Anyone got some positive vibes going free please lease please can i have some

Sorry to hear about your hair disaster. I dyed mine red, and it came out really bright. I had short curls at the time, so I looked a bit like Ronald Mcdonald gone wrong! :rotfl:

We're having a whole chicken cooked in my slow cooker today. I haven't got anything else to report, but we're all happy enough. Its a lovely summery day, and I'm feeeling very fortunate to have the people around me I do.

Had a fantastic Bh weekend :j Not very MSE but then again not very expensive either :cool:

BBQ on sunday shared costs
Relaxing day at home on Monday
Sculpture park yesterday, with picnic and a game of hide and seek/tig ...7 of us running around like scarey mad people :T achy legs today though :rotfl:

Friend has gone up to Gretna Green to get wed so later on we will be watching the ceremony on the web cam ...how cool is that :T:j:T

Busy few days in the house of spike ....work and lots of cleaning and bedding washing as bride and grooms DCs and my friend are sleeping over on Saturday after wedding reception Saturday after work we have 100 cupcakes and wedding cake to set up at venue :eek: and then i have to try and make myself look human/feminine for Saturday night :eek: (spend most of my life in jeans/trousers and saturday i am wearing a dress :eek:

Not much MSE stuff i know but will be raring to go...all guns blazing after Saturday :T after all there is a fabby holiday to save for :j...............
and car MOT :eek::(

Evening

We have been busy busy busy!!!!!

Wedding reception last night.....i was a good girl and didn't drink too much at all :A It was a fantastic evening :beer:

BIG news.......The chooks are here :j:j:j:j:j:j
Ended up with 10 They are wonderful ...we already have a chatter box she has been christened Hyacinth :rotfl:They do look a bit bedraggled but not as bad as i was expecting :j and so far seem to be settling nicely :j So its all giddy in the House of Spike .... well we will be tomorrow after a good nights sleep....2.30am is not a good time for DCs to be going to sleep :eek: GRUMPY is not the word and true to form i am SPIKE!!!!!!!

Catch up soon.....when DCs are back at school :j
