It is only dangerous if it is inappropriate. A competent driver training establishment will not train drivers to drive dangerously at any level.

Describing how to do something may appear to make it seem more complex than it is in practice. Naturally an advanced driving course will teach different techniques to those taught at a basic level and should make for a safer driver.

Some of those techniques may seem to go against the grain but when learnt and practiced their merits become obvious.

But no competent driver training programme would advocate what you suggested earlier.

Agreed .. so why single out Asians and older people in the first place?

...and your demonstrated driving skills hardly puts you in a position to make critical comment about others.

    How do you know?

Do it on a driving test and it would be an automatic fail.

Stop being naive, no competent driver training programme would teach such dangerous rubbish.

Agreed, and there are no different rules applied to any proper training programme.

You would certainly fail an Advanced Driving Test doing what you suggested.

It was against the rules of the Highway Code, simply not tolerated.

As an ex ADI that has been involved in driver training at various levels, I would never teach anyone to do the manoeuvre you are advocating, it is outright dangerous and bad driving.
