Just a quick update to say I am still here and still MS (mostly) Big news is that PH and I have finally got engaged. We have been together 9 years in March so I have been waiting a while!
Been crazy wedding planning, which is made so much harder by our restricted budget. I have finally booked the church and reception at our local community centre for 12 May 2012. Almost every other venue was out of our price range, and with a big family on both sides we need all the money we can for the food!Staring point of debt £23,343:mad:

welcome back and congratulations with your engagement. Have a look on the marriage threads on here as i know when i was planning my wedding there were a lovely group of people all doing the same and we tried to help each other out where possible.0

Oh dear...has it been that long?
I knew I had been burying my head in the sand but seriously can't believe how much time has passed. I don't think the debt has increased massively since September but it definitely hasn't gone down.
The good news is that I am now working full time and we have just started to receive our early years funding for DD which helps a lot. On the flip side we still have a wedding and honeymoon to pay for.
Technically our disposable income is £1000 per month and I just don't understand how we can be frittering this sort of amount away. We have agreed to keep our receipts for the next couple of weeks to work it out xStaring point of debt £23,343:mad:
