YOU dont know its a worn out clutch !!!!!!.

In your next post you confirm it is.

Edited to add, £130 for a new fitted clutch is very cheap.I'd ask them which tube of the above mentioned patented clutch glue they are using.I don't know what car you have but £200-400 is more usual.

I would assume this is just the price for the clutch kit and does not involve any fitting costs.

lol i dont really care which glue it is, as long as car reaches 30mph in a respectable time, im happy.

A1 clutches: best deal you can get. The £400 quote garage mentioned the name, i was unaware of them, and when i did mention a1 to other garages to barter, they immediately cut me to say "no way, can we beat them, they are the cheapest/most competitive".

AA man said hes used them many a time and vouched for them.

Seems strange that a competitor would mention a rival.
Seems strange that the price is so low as well. I think something is not right here.

in order to have AA pay for all my repairs i need to call them to report a breakdown. But technically i have not broken down.
I cant afford a new clutch. AA cover costs me loads, with extras.

Please tell me you don't think the AA breakdown cover will mean they will fit a new clutch if your car no longer moves due to clutch slip.

Do you still believe in the Tooth Fairy.

Perhaps the OP is confusing AA breakdown with an AA approved warranty.

I must admit I wish I had read this thread earlier.

Sometimes peoples stupidity is surprising even to me with 10 yrs working on the 9's.

I dont think the OP just has breakdown cover - I assume they have some kind of mechanical warranty too which the AA also provide in addition to breakdown cover.

It will not cover clutch linings (none of these products do), but people are being far too harsh on the OP because they don't understand what they're saying.
