:wave:Grateful - how is maternity leave going?
Hi, hex. I've had 4 weeks now and just done puppy training and lazed around. It was boring at first but now time is going so fast...and no sign of baby yet!
Thanks for asking, how's you??I am saving my pennies for new pans.. They have to be absolutely bounce proof, burn proof, piggy proof, dishwasher proof, not too heavy due to my arthritis and general feebleness... so... what do you wise old owls recommend?
Not claiming any wisdom, but Mum bought me in 1994 stellar stainless steel ones and they still look good still going strong, no mending needed. eta http://www.millyskitchenstore.co.uk/Stellar1000StainlessSteel-Category-231-19-1330.html I have small saucepan, large saucepan, milk jug (great for making white sauce in) and a small casserole plus a steamer layer to go in the casserole.
DH has unpacked Mr S shopping, but nothing else achieved:oPlease do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0 -

And non-stick coating tends to be worn off with my use of forks and spoons while cooking so non-stick without teflon would be good, I dont like eating teflon.

Meanwhile, on the lurk for an HHC to join - most peculiar day - just lets say that, as my clear intention was to be home by 2.30 pm ............. it is obviously 2.30 pm!
Off to put on more suitable clothing (ie, remove shoes) and then will see if anyone wants to join me in crazy land.Work is not my Hobby0 -

4 loads of washing done & accidentally cleaned out the fridge. Which hadn't been done in living memory. It looks so different inside it's unbelievable!
Have a great weekend everybody.0 -
Right that's me done. Friday's list finished and DH is home and is now drying off the windows I've just cleaned.
Thanks for the lists again. Looking forward to a cleaning-free weekend now, enjoying myself :j.
Hope everyone else will be doing something similar but whatever it is, have a good one!
Till next week...0 -
Right, well, on my lonely HHC I did all my dailies and Fridays upstairs.
Off to put food in my growling tummy, and then might try for another HHC for downstairs in a while. Maybe. Perhaps. If I can find company.

I need to meal plan and do the online shop but think I'll put this off until tomorrow."Let your boat of life be light, pack only what you need- A homely home and simple pleasures, one or two friends worth the name, someone to love and someone who loves you, a cat, a dog, a pipe or two enough to eat, enough to wear and a little more than enough to drink, as thirst is a dangerous thing" Jerome k.
