Off to embark on Thursday's list - back in hour or so...

    Hi guys

scarlettsmum When I had my first baby 28 yrs ago OMG  I was given a very good piece of advice that steered me all the way through motherhood, 'babies join YOUR life...NOT the other way around'.... hoover when it suits you, bubs may scream but they soon shut up :D I never once didn't hoover cos baby was asleep, they get used to the noise :) Maybe I'm old fashioned lol ((((((((hugs))))))))) x

Done 5 hrs at work today and am pooped, finished till Monday now though YAY! OH came round to wait for the council who have now fixed my downstairs loo :T and I've switched the DW on that I forgot to do this morning DOH!, put some towels on the line first thing and they look like they've dried, best get them in then *yawns* Macaroni cheese done in the oven for tea, yum!
  • Popping in to say have washed and replaced covers on sofa, and unloaded the d/w. Mr S has been but I am lazily waiting for DH to get home and pack it away!!
Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x

I am saving my pennies for new pans.. They have to be absolutely bounce proof, burn proof, piggy proof, dishwasher proof, not too heavy due to my arthritis and general feebleness... so... what do you wise old owls recommend? And non-stick coating tends to be worn off with my use of forks and spoons while cooking so non-stick without teflon would be good, I dont like eating teflon.

I will treat them to.. tinned beans, spaghetti, soup and the occasional egg.. oh.. and loads of frozen peas.. I LOVE frozen peas!

    What shall I buy?

Oh.. my kitchen is blue with black granite worksurfaces.. so they need to match... I am THAT anal!

    Hi All

I've been lurking but thought I'd join in as I'm so proud of myself. As today is my day off the job I get paid for, I that spent all day doing housework (including tackling some serious grime around the cooker hood) and got 5 loads of washing done. Only problem is my back is now seizing up and I am hobbling about, still at least its the weekend! Hope you all have a good one!
