Well, in my HHC I managed to do my dailies and Friday's downstairs, and put away the groceries upstairs and downstairs (strange life I lead) - now the kitchen just needs a quick S&S - laters.
Just need to pop next door and declutter the mail I received today to the rightful owners. Then off to check out one of my 'dog' friends who is coming up to my neck of the woods next month. Then will hopefully delight Mr and Mrs Dog by feeding them their dinners - had to make them wait a bit as I gave them bananas earlier.
Then I'm going to 'treat' myself with a catch up read here.Work is not my Hobby0 -
Evenin' all. *bends knees *:D
Pigpen ooh, congratulations to your Sis on her OB victory!
Mr LW offered to go and meet the chair bloke on his own - I didn't need to be asked twice!
So I'm taking the opportunity to catch up with my email.
File handover meeting is now set for Sunday April 17th. Was to have been 10th, then new person remembered she already had an appointment that day. It was oddly comforting that she's not totally super-duper efficient, in a strange sort of way.:o
Been into town for meds - twice. I'll explain....
Got to surgery to collect prescription - they've done one item incorrectly, given me a different med to the one I ordered. Well, OK, I was going to order that next week, so I can use the prescription, but I still need my morphine tablets.
Receptionist said she'd get it done, but wouldn't be ready til late afternoon.... OK, at a pinch, we can pick up tomorrow morning... so off we go to get the stuff we have prescriptions for (2 items for me and 1 for Mr LW).
We're in town.... my phone rings, it's receptionist... Your morphine prescription is ready. Back we go, collect it, and back into town to get the tablets.
So a bit of too-ing and fro-ing, but we have all the meds we need for the time being!:T:T:T:T:T
Still haven't managed any me-time, though.:shhh: I think now it'll have to be deferred til the weekend, as I have a gazillion beer scores by email that I have to put on the spreadsheet as soon as I've posted this; that'll probably take the rest of the evening.
Right, must go and get on with the aforementioned beer scores.:wave:If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -

Pigpen~~ I have prestiege saucepans stainless steel, bought them in 1982 or there abouts, use them most days, but they have wooden handles and cannot go in the dishwasher because iof the handles, but I have only generally cooked for 2 to 4 people on going, not your number.
I chose them but went for the black handles in case I ever did get a dishwasher. Pans still going strong, still easy to wash/use and I still haven't got a dishwasher. I used to buy them, one at a time, with my catalogue commission! The smallest one (a milk pan) - cost £14.25 - THEN!
I was also gifted a second set (from relation who died who used to keep new things back ready-to-use and these never have been) so I now have loads.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016
