Im looking forward to that.bah humbug. The spare room is the first one in the house to finish being decluttered and to be dusted/cleaned properlydoes anyone else remember about 3 months ago when it was my ROD. Does anyone know if there is a meal planning thread? I hate cooking and some inspiration would be useful for quick and cheap meal ideas. I do want to learn to cook one of these days.
meal plans
dont be hard on yourself you are doing well - and DO NOT play catch up - if you dont do something on the list forget it - its only a matter of days before it comes around. Just try to get little straightforward routines/ dailies in place and that will help. (hugs)
ScarlettsMum awh honey - stuff the housework - baby is far more important - the dust and dirt will still be here when we are all dead - babies have a bad habit of growing up so enjoy - but I agree with all the others too that baby has to fit into your routines as well - she might like the hoover but if not a few tears wont harm her (hugs)
LameWolf thats good that you have a date to get organised for now - you mentioned 'giving up' totally but the problems it would cause the area guy - well excuse me young lady that is not your problem! it sounds like you have done far more than your fair share. It is the same in loads or organisations - the same people get put upon and do all the work. Do you enjoy doing it? How much time does it take up? What would you do with the time if you weren't doing it? Does the paperwork take up a lot of space that you could utilise? If you get more woofies would you still have the inclination to be doing it? Is it a chore? maybe the time is right for you to handover - only you know - but you musnt be worrying about the consequences for others that just causes stress (((hugs)))

Morning everyone :hello:
Sorry I havent been around much. Spring has sprung & I'm spending lots of time at paid work which limits flying time quite a lot. I've been promoted at work toowhich of course is lovely but means more hours too
Have skimmed the fred but haven't taken that much in..
LW 8 years is a long time to do a volunteer post - if it's still fun then great, but if it's an effort & uses up valuable spoons then maybe it's time to stop? Mr LW has it right (clever man!) think on it a few days ((hugs))
Scarlettsmum if it bothers you then do the hoovering while she's awake, but like the others have said, she's only a baby once. Enjoy her!
Flying wise.. We've got unexpected visitors tonight, so I'll be doing a couple of hours mad flying once I've been to work. Laters!!When people show you who they are, believe them the first time0 -

hi again, been away on hols for a week, then spent thur and fri enjoying the glorious weather ,topping up my tan,to get our garden in order and ready for planting veg ,cottage style, amongst my flowers.will start again proper on monday.Getting the holiday washing done today, have to send it to be ironed cos of broken upper arm, etc, have a lovely weekend everyone, hope weather lasts.Today, get Oh to clean greenhouse with pressure washer and a bit of jeyes fliud by me,so i can get ready to put tomatoes in.feed borders, plant veg seeds for windowsill, getting compost turned and added to .Weeded between bulbs, hoed annual weeds, weedkiller to many dandelions.seed bare bits in lawn from dog, prune climbing roses, split and move snowdrops.
Jetbag, from mse I have discovered a site called realseeds, which has some lovely rare seeds,AND they tell you how to save seeds from year to year.I am growing things that are colourful (eg purple podded french beans that turn green when cooked, runner beans with glorious flowers, for my cottage garden as I cannot and have not dug a proper bed yet).Annoyed that yesterday I bought a courgette plant that turns out to be an F1 hybrid from a garden centre-ie you cant save the seed)0
