    Morning all
I've been up since 6 but didn't get online til now.
I have a chicken in the oven which will be rubbered later, I've also made rice pudding, a loaf of bread & a batch of biscuits.
My beloved decided we HAD to go to B&Q despite the marathon being run, so that took 2 hours instead of 40 minutes!
Still he's pottering happily in the garden now & I can get on in the kitchen, I need to boil some eggs for lunches next week as I have another batch of mustard & cress ready, I planted these myself in a smaller container than hubby used last time.
    Have a good day everyone.
    Hugs Hester

Thank you so much Sistercas x

Pork is roasting as I type and smelling really inviting. Since I read the Chinese tip of pouring a kettle-full of boiling water over the skin, then drying and salting (a la Antony W-T) I am much less haphazzard with the crackling. Sometimes the joint is bare by the time it reaches the table :)

Bread is almost ready and adding to the delicious smells. OMG I am hungry

    DH has planted more potatoes:)

    Morning all,

slept in till 8.30 this morning :j have been pottering since, have stripped the bed and its in the wm, will hang it out once its finished.

Yesterday we went to a local cafe that wanted waitresses, and had a nice lunch out, but dd would not ask, I think her experience last week has scared her :( she thinks all work will be like that, what a cow that woman was , I keep reassuring dd, so will hopefully get there ;)

We passed a fish stand on the seafront, and OH and I treated ourselves to 6 scallops, they were huge, but 98p each :eek:caught that morning, they were delish and so fresh, will get some more once we have saved up :rotfl:

Today I think we might go walking, with a picnic, its too nice to be indoors.

Dinner today will be a chicken curry and rice we will have our roast tomorrow as dd is seeing her dad today, and they normally have lunch out, and she never fancies a roast after, but she looks forward to one on a monday.

OK better get on, have good days all xx

Sorry to hear about your DD,
Why dont you put the thourt in her head, as in make her think its her idea. I can see it now your DD and about 15 of her school mates, All going into that nasty women cafe for jam sandwichs and lashings of ginger beer/lemonade....:D:D:D:D
It wont be your DD who feels intitadated this time:rotfl::rotfl:
The women really needs to be put in her place and shown that you can not treat people like this and get away with it.
