    Evening everyone

Been MIA for a couple of days. Had a bit of an upset with ds1. He was living in his cousins flat, but
they have had a major fall out and he has been told to leave. He is temporarily staying with my parents for a few days but this is not a long term option. He is now nearly 21 and is asking to come & live with me, his stepdad and ds2 in Essex, he currently lives up north. He has no job, claims jobseekers and has in the past been very disrespectful and has basically made my life a misery at times. I do want to support him, but also don't want to jeopodise my relationship and happiness. He can't/won't live with his dad due to dads gf. I know he is an adult but I can't see him stuck if that makes sense.

Os today bit of ironing, dw on & emptied. Wm on and was hung on
    line.

Went out for a drink after walking dog, met ds2 friends mum who worked there, asked if any jobs going & she brought me out an application form & told me to fill it in. A few shifts would be good if it comes off.

Julie67 - wow, ds1 friend has just gone to Australia for 12 months.
Marie - thinking of you, your dd and her friends family.
Hailight - nice to see you back
jackieg - well done on the weightloss.

Sorry if I have missed anyone. Hugs to anyone that needs/wants one. Enjoy the rest of your evening. Take care.

will definitely keep posting here! I will need you guys to keep me sane in the coming months. the cost of living is a difficult one much the same in a lot of ways foodwise some things are much cheaper like meat and fish but bread is much more expensive it's swings and roundabouts really I would say motoring, fuel and insurance is cheaper but for us it's the quality of life and the more or less all year round outdoor life style my dh is a big golfer and we all love the beach. I am under no illusions that life will be any easier but I do think it suits our family better:)

    Evening all,

Thanks to everybody for their kind thoughts and prayers for A....cancer is a dreadful disease...by the time she felt unwell it was too late to do anything. We went to Kerry for the funeral yesterday and came back to-day...family at this stage are mostly numb, her husband has some difficult decisions to make....they are in a wonderful community which will help, but won't be at all easy for any of them.

It has been a very nice day to-day, although on the way home there were some cloudy patches, not cold at all, so have done 2 washes which I will hang out in the morning.

Am very tired now so will say sleep well and stay safe to everybody

Julie, that is the sort of lifestyle that would suit us as well, At the moment we spend as much time as we can down on the coast between Weymouth and Cornwall. We were seriously considering it but Mum became ill with the big C and unfortunatly we lost her nearly a year ago now. Although he would hate to think we would stay for him I am loath to take my brood away from him. They see him almost every day and they all adore each other.

Marie, as you can see I have some understanding of how you all may be feeling at the moment and my heart goes out to you and her family. (((hugs))) and God Bless.
