    Good Afternoon

Lovely day here in West Yorkshire. Had a lovely lie-in this morning, we went out last night with the boys to watch a local band (friends) had a lovely time. We sold a tent last week and bought a new one yesterday for the price that we got for the old one! Feels like we have got a new tent for free. Got lots done today, washing, ironing, mopped the dining room floor and been to Mr T's. DD and friend unexpectedly home from uni so bought a few bits to send them back with.

Enjoy the rest of the weekend.

I have been known, when v. low on prep time, to make it with bought chuncky chips.
I am going to try this recipe, it sounds lovely x

We all like it, and mixing it with the cheapo custard powder is a tasty pudding which does the 3 of us for less than 10p!! :T I've got a pretty big 'clump'. It gets better each year. A couple of years ago we had little thin stalks not much thicker than pencils. This year it's lovely thick stalks, and it's growing brilliantly. I must have a scout round on here, try and find some recipes. Looks like it might be a bumper crop, hope so anyway!

    Evening all :)

Had a lovely lay in this morning, the brood didn't wake us till nearly 9.00 :T So a quick breakfast and shower and dressed and we whizzed off to church and DH went to the allotment. Then went to see mum at the cemetary and have a 'chat' and on to dad's for dinner. He did lemon chicken :) and veg and roasties. I have bought back enough chicken that if I add it to my chicken left over from the other day I reckon I can get 2 pies and a risotto out of it, with possibly some still left over :D. So I will adjust my meal plans for the next few weeks to accomodate the free-ish food :). That'll help the budget.

We love rhubarb too and hoping for a bumper crop this year. WW have a recipe for a lovely almond and rhubarb tart.

Just come back from a good long walk, it's a nice evening and it gives us some peace and quiet for a chat.

We have decided to go back to Australia (lived there previously but had to come back due to family problems) in around 12 mnths and rent our house out due to the housing market.

DH will leave his business running here (his eldest son will run it) and we will set up something similar there. We are lucky that we have a large family network already there so its not so scary but still a big decision. A much better time for us to go now with the eldest kids being settled and the younger ones happy to come with, this time hopefully it will be for good, as I said scary but exciting too:)
