In a way I hope you are a troll. The other thought makes my skin crawl. You are an ungrateful person.
Secondly you are not a child anymore you are an adult. Your mum has done her job bringing you up. (to be a spoilt brat by the looks of it)
Thirdly, yes its your home, and as such you need to contribute towards its upkeep.
Last but not least, I have an empty shed you can rent, only £150 a week no bills included.RIP TJ. You my be gone, but never forgotten. Always in our hearts xxxHe is your friend, your partner, your defender, your dog.You are his life, his love, his leader. He will be yours, faithful and true, to the last beat of his heart. You owe it to him to be worthy of such devotion.0 -

Sweetheart (that's a misnomer if I ever heard one!)
I think you're on the wrong website.
This is a money-saving website.
I think you should be posting on a 'I'm a pathetic, selfish, ungrateful, mean little biatch who doesn't want to help my Mum through a time of financial hardship' website.0 -
Me and my OH earn as much as you put together! We live with his dad and pay him £400, then we buy food for him aswell! We have 2 dogs to feed and take care of, we both have phone contracts and other personal bills
We are hoping to move out, but thats because he's hard to live with, rather than the amount we're paying
grow up and help your mum out you selfish cow, you sound like a childI'm not a bloke! :rotfl:My real name is Sinead, Sid is my nickname :rotfl:0 -

So he happily pays nearly 2/3 of his wages, thats nice, she must be very proud of him. Even if its only a part time job he is doing his bit to help his mum

You on the other hand grudge your 1/6. Lovely. The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -
Peeps can we tone it down please, yes the OP has come across as a brat as some would say but i dotn think she understands whats being asked of her,
OP if you dont pay the mortgage then you will(or you mum) be in trouble with the bank for not paying and you could end up with no home,
is this what people in young twenties are like these days, is it too much reality tv and celeb mags0 -
Sweetheart wrote: »Ok - but I still dont see why I should pay her mortgage! thats just wrong.
Tell you what, move out and then try using that line on your landlord. I can pretty much guarantee you that it won't work ...
The reality is that when you're a grown-up, and you're earning a grown-up wage, you have to pay to live somewhere, whether it's your parent's house, somewhere you rent or somewhere you have a mortgage on. For most people life stops being 'free' eventually ...0 -
Please show your Mom this: Tell your ungrateful daughter to leave and take in a lodger instead."On behalf of teachers, I'd like to dedicate this award to Michael Gove and I mean dedicate in the Anglo Saxon sense which means insert roughly into the anus of." My hero, Mr Steer.0
