The worst for me is "you know" in every sentence.I switch off,literally if it's the telly,if it is someone talking to me then i just count the "you knows" because i stop caring what they are saying!

After that,I fail to understand why people struggle with brought and bought! Pure ignorance.

As is "nothinK" and "somethinK" i feel like asking them to spell it,bet the K would disappear then.

At the end of the day, I suppose we all have to fall in line like, and hope that we are all in the loop when we hear the bottom line yeah? Otherwise someone will think outside the box, and that would be a no-brainer. Know what I mean like?:T:T

Strangely this is a very common trait for most 'ordinary people'...it's just that it really shows up on TV and the professional presenters have had it kicked out of them....same as umms and errrs.

I challenge anyone to talk to a camera for even 30 seconds without some of the above creeping in.

It's still annoying though!!!!

I take calls at work -and some calls I count the "basically's" One call had 30 !!!!!!

cool. So glad to have got rid of my colleague who thought everything was cool. must have said it 50 times a day.

laughing when there's nothing to laugh about. eg. when on phone "I'm sorry but I've just cocked up your appointment time .... laugh .... Really sorry but my computer crashed ... laugh ....
