Surely inflation dictates that their basic principle is doomed to fail in the longer term although at the moment they offer fantastic value.

DD not keen on chocolate really but does like Mikado so was pleased to find 2 for £ in ours today. they're 80p a packet in Asda.
And milk is cheapest in farm foods round here, 2 x 2l for £1.50 and Hovis is 2 for £1!!!0 -
I go into Poundland every week day, as part of taking a walk at lunchtime (as I work near it).
I check for new stock coming in because they often have stuff discontinued elsewhere for only £1 which is extremely good value.
Although some of the stuff in there is pure tat, some is good value.
You get what you pay for and you should check what you are getting before you pay for it.0 -
