Poundland? Should be £1.13-land!

Alway wondered how this chain was going to maintain its name due to inflation/price rises over the years and now I know - reduce the size!
Bought my usual multi-pack of McCoys crisps yesterday to find they now contain 8 bags instead of 9 (now costing 12.5p a bag instead of 11p, so 9-bag pack would be £1.13).
Still the cheapest regular price I have found for them, though. My local Co-op quite often has the 6-bag pack on BOGOF but even then they still work out dearer.

I can't remember ever coming across any particular bargains at Poundland, but that might be due to the items I wanted to purchase at the time - I much prefer Poundstretcher, I always come home with a bag full of goodies.0

So oundland are selling pack of 8 mccoys instead of the 9, the pack of 8 still costs a £1 doesnt it, same as other retailers, most likely the owner of mccoys upped the price of a bag of 9 and poundland decided to go with a bag of 8 instead0

Walkers seem to be making their six pack for "£land- it only has 5 packets in!
the weightwatchers stuff has reduced in size as well ( 5 instead of 6 crisps, 4 instead of 5 etc) Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -

And to add insult to injury...after several hours of pricechecking....it's still the cheapest you can find???
You have every right to be annoyed/get a life...pls feel free to chose as you see fit.
Is there any requirement to be so nasty? Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.

I've noticed a lot of this in Poundland - special pack sizes. Makes sense.
Just like the bread they've started selling - 600g Warburtons Toastie loaves - 800g ones are £1.35 in Tesco = £1.0125 for 600g0
