Even though they know me well it still raised the odd eyebrow :rotfl:

A Kenwood Chef and not very OS but a Rohan Nightfall jacket. Not much chance I either I fear!

Um, fence, I need a new fence. I wonder whether I could ask for one of those??
  • Oh, I'd so love a breadmaker but it's too expensive a gift to ask for. Maybe I'll be able to afford one in the sales
  • My most amazing present would be a bigger kitchen with more than one work top, and to grow and extra 3" in height :p

What I have asked for is books and cross stitch kits.

What do I want most? OH back in time for Christmas. :o

I would like a day off from cooking, although unfortunately that's not going to happen. Howeve I'm off work on Christmas Eve and am going to ask DH to cook me a nice dinner as a treat.

Re presents, Santa is bringing me a blowtorch :D

I have asked for money as I want to buy a food processor..........It takes soooooooooo long to hand grate stale bread for breadcrumbs (I watch in pure envy, on cooking shows when they reduce half a loaf to crumbs in 30 seconds when it can take me up to 20 minutes by hand)! also some recipes I like to make (faggots for example) take ages with the old mincer!
I am NOT going to ask for a food processor as I am sure that someone will get me the one which is far too small and not powerful enough! (no names mentioned but I have made that mistake in the past!)

I would like a painter for a month and an eight foot long Dutch span greenhouse please. With an electricity supply installed.

What I've asked for is a subscription to The Kitchen Garden and a stainless steel trowel with interchangable handles.
    Val.

  • I have asked for a dehydrator
But the thing I would love most is a small holding with woodland attached, geothermal heating, solar panels, windmill power, a bore hole and reed bed so that I can be free of the overpriced utility companies
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light
