a cherry stoner for our HG cherries
an apron (with a pocket for my Flylady notebook and pencil)
    the Tightwad Gazette

And I won't be disappointed to find Hugh F-W in my stocking, either ;)

I was going to ask for a new apron but I've got a freebie one from Good Housekeeping magazine coming :D Have all the os gadgets etc that I need and Santa can't run to a new kitchen, which I really would like.

Other than that ...... NO :D

Expensive make-up (already bought by me LOL) and the Doctor Who series 2 box set (although I would MUCH prefer to find David Tennant in my stocking )

I've got coming the Money Diiet book of Martin's plus the Thrifty Ways book on pre-order his new book. I'm also getting a Jekka McVicar book on Herbs (surprisingly :rotfl: ) to make better use of what I grow

  • I'm getting a Easiyo Yoghurt Maker and I've bought DS a cheap ice-cream maker and my OH a quesidilla maker. Sneaky or what! Lets hope they don't all end up at the back of a cupboard (they can't, I've run out of space).

Dropped major hints for a slow cooker so keeping fingers crossed. How MSE has changed my life!
  • Well myself and OH decided to put money aside, so instead of buying each other expensive presents, that we could have a wee break away together in New Year. We're heading off on Jan 26th for a long weekend - managed to get flights for £1!!!!!!!!

Other than that we're gonna fill a small stocking for each other with silly, inexpensive gifts, just to have something to open with dinner :o)

  • As money is going to be tight again this year, I've asked my husband to make me a calendar with pictures of the family.
  • I've asked for the Tightwad's Gazette, and was met with a very strange look from DH! Other than that we usually set a budget which is modest and try to be inventive,
