I like pork chops coated with breadcrumbs, just beat an egg, dip the chops in the breadcrumbs and fry for a little to light brown, pop in oven cover in foil for about 30 mins or more depending on thickness of chop

I love to serve these with gnocci and wholegrain mustard and a cucumber salad

  • Fry some diced apple & onion in a pan till soft. Then take them out & put chops in & fry till browning off. Pour in some cider (a glassful?? - depends how big the pan & how many chops). Simmer for 10-15 mins until reduced a little, add onion/apple and stir through some cream (is it single that won't curdle??) until warm. You can cut pork into strips if prefered before you start cooking.

Easy & tasty. Must make it again, haven't done it for ages!!

Brush with oil, roll in Paxo Stuffing mix (dry) wrap in foil and bake in oven. Serve with apple sauce and roasted vegetables.
We must not, in trying to think about how we can make a big difference, ignore the small daily differences we can make which, over time, add up to big differences that we often cannot foresee.

Wrap each one in a tin foil parcel with sliced mushrooms and double cream put in the oven about 30 mins. I usually cut off the bones but your choice.

If you happen to have a jar of hoi-sin sauce, mix 1 tbsp of hoi-sin sauce with a tbsp of honey. Brush the pork chops on both sides with this mixture. Leave them to marinade for 30 mins or longer, then grill or fry until done. You can brush more of the mixture onto the chops while grilling or frying.
This is a good ones for summer barbecues as well!

    Grill, then eat! :D

Seriously though - spread some nice mustard all over it, and then sprinkle with brown sugar and grill. It's a taste sensation!

Yes you are so right Mrs Irwin! My mother always did this with belly pork. Thanks for reminding me.

If they are loin pork chops you can slice them into thin strips and use them in a stir fry or add to a tin of pasta sauce or cream of mushroom sauce to make a carbonara type dish. This way you can make them appear to be more than there actually are.
