barmonkey, firstly - your sig, I agree 100%!!!!!
Secondly;
Hmm, sounds complicated. He's asking you to send the pc back? But you have already sent it, but he says its a brick not the PC? I wonder if him and his next door neighbour are in it together? Or if he's just nicked it.
As for the whole I've moved thing - you've sent the PC to the paypal address, which is the right thing to do.
As far as I can tell, you've returned it via tracked method, so you'll win? If he says there's nothing in it but a brick its up to him to somehow prove this?
i dont know what is he playing but i well go to the end i maybe take the case to curt i i have send tracked recorded compensation up to £700 so do you thing the postmen change the packege or remove the pc.. now i received an email from the seller and this is the msg
Seller's message:
'im not joking when i say i dont have the item in my possession , i did not give my neighbour permmission to sign parcelforce did , my neighbour is 78years old so i dont think she has tampered with the parcel, as of liability it lies with you to find out were my item is as you arranged courier not me and you were responsible for making sure the item arrived with me safe and secure with insurance on the parcel , all i want is the item back so i can issue refund as theres no way on earth im refunding you untill i have pc here so please stop being awkward and find out were my pc is as the next stop for me is contacting the police as i feel fraud is being committed as i have no item and no money if i refund you . ebay notified me to explain this all to you that you are responsible for the item,couier,and insurance when you posted it ,,, I dont know if you have done this or someone in the postal service ?? all i want to know is WERE MY ITEMS AT ?????? these replys are all logged with ebay .'

Rebin, the way I understand it is that you have posted the item back via a trackable method to the paypal address. Therefore you have done your part correctly. The fact that parcelforce got the man next door to sign for it is not your problem.s of liability it lies with you to find out were my item is as you arranged courier not me and you were responsible for making sure the item arrived with me safe and secure with insurance on the parcel
Yes, and you have done what you were required to do. Paypal should make him refund you I think? There's more experts on here than me
There's a case open on paypal yes? You need to supply them with your return details - ie the tracking number etc.
Someone might have intercepted it etc, but that's not really your problem (more likely he's trying to pull a fast one). Just tell the seller that you have all the tracking details and are happy to supply them to paypal, the police, whoever!0 -
So this is what happened...
1) seller sent PC which he said was new
2) PC wasn't new so buyer wanted a refund
3) Buyer sent item to address listed for sellers ebay account
4) Seller receives a parcel but seller says it doesn't have the PC in it
5) Buyer did something about a refund case but I don't understand what!
You could ask for a photograph of the package with the contents and label visible if you're not sure whether to trust the seller. If they say they've got rid of it or anything then they're probably lying
Personally I wouldn't be trusting them! Seems a bit too odd and they say 'ebay notified me to explain this all to you....' which sounds like rubbish to me!
I would ignore their messages from now on and just deal with it via ebay with an Item not as described case. When you put in the tracking details you'll probably just get refunded.
If it somehow doesn't get your money back then try claiming from parcelforce based on the parcel being tampered with. NOT on the wrong house number thing as that's a complete non issue you should forget about.0 -
Update the dispute with the tracking details, when it shows as being signed for you should recieve your refund.0
-
OP You need to add the parcel tracking number to a message on the despute or phone eBay and give them the tracking number0

Your seller's use of the English language seems incredibly similar to your own.
If you returned the item via trackable means you should get your refund. If the seller received a block of wood but you sent a PC, then there are two possibilities of where the dodginess could have occurred. The courier or the neighbour could have done the old swapparoo.
This really illustrates the flaws with ebay, anyone can buy an expensive item and return a block of wood and still get their refund.
HI,greedbay
i have send the pc there is no way i put a lamp and some wood why do i risk myself in to this..i allready open a claim so we wait and seewhat is going to heppnd..0 -

Amazon says;
Boxed-product Weight: 18 Kg
so it is pretty heavy.
