I applied for two tickets for the opening ceremony. Paid £40.24 plus a booking fee. I guess they only charge you if you're successful in getting tickets allocated. My booking ref number is OLY 0000XXX. I like low numbers. As in number plates, not income(!):p

A bit annoying they only inform you of the ticket delivery fee of £6 during the booking process.

I think you do have to buy them all This is whats putting me off applying for all the events I'd be happy to see. I don't mind which if them we go to but I can't afford to go to them all!

I've applied for Athletics and I too was peed off about the postage charge. I was going for the £20 tickets originally but have decided to go for the event with some victory ceremonies.

Feeling really skanked at having to pay £50 each for my kids though, one will only be 2 years old

Please consider carefully when applying for tickets for the London 2012 Games. Once your application is processed, you cannot cancel, change or return your tickets.
However, for those ticketholders who are no longer able to attend the Games, London 2012 will introduce a ticket resale service that will enable tickets to be resold through London 2012 to other spectators. Full details will be announced later in 2011.

i would expect tickets, especially expensive ones, to come via special delivery, and so £6 p&p would be about right

There are special price sessions available where children under 16 are entitled to a 'pay your age ticket'.

This is only available on the events that have the blue flag indicating special prices.
I really want to see the gymnastics but would be happy to go to any event but I can't risk putting more than one event as I can't afford to pay for them all! Maybe they should have done it where you put your choices in order of preference?
