Why some people think CarGiant are overpriced rubbish

To clarify this is what we bought from CG in Nov'09, not this one, but one exactly the same but on a 56 plate.
This is an eBay advert from today, with a car six months or so older than ours for sale in Mar '11.
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/2006-Renault-Clio-Expression-1-5dCi-68-Hatchback-/330537683591?pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item4cf594ca87
This is advertised for £5534.
Do some people still think £5790 was too much for a 56 plate identical to this one in Nov '09.
Honestly now, if I had said I bought our car from an auction would anybody be saying it was a bad deal.
This is really strange, a money saving forum where several people don't advocate saving money?
Seems strange, but there it is.
We bought a car from a dealer, wether you like the dealer or not is not relevant, but 16 in fact almost 17 months later, a main dealer still has a similar car to the one bought all that time ago up for a similar price 17 months later!
Can somebody explain this money saving lark then, is it about saving money or spending it.
If I had said I bought the car at Manheim Colchester, like i did my Mondeo, would there be such antagonism.
I have mentioned the price I paid for my Mondeo 28 months ago, also the place where I bought it, and the fact that it is still worth what I paid for it all this time later, but I have never been accused of working for Manheim Colchester. No internet opinion regarding buying a dodgy car at Manheim has been linked to.
Now can somebody explain what is the difference between different ways to save money.
And why there is such antagonism directed to saving money in some ways but not others.
Anybody that actually reads my posts properly will know that I say if you have cash buy at Manheim or BCA, maybe Chelmsford for a cheapy.
It is CarGiant if I want an ex fleet car on finance.
And Fords of Winsford or Motorpoint for a nearly new car or pre registered car.
Or Addison Lee car sales if you want a bargain 3 yr old ex Private Hire Sharon or Merc E Class.
These are the money saving tips I have given before, they have been the same since I started posting here and they will stay that way unless somebody gives me better options.
It isnice to see that our Clio has lost little money, much the same as my Mondeo.
Makes a change as I normaly lose lots on cars, I lost £5000 in 3 months on my WRX, when I traded it in for my Legacy.0
