Only caught the last few minutes, the spokesperson for Tesco claimed that most refunds were only in the region of £4 and that a £20 cap was more than enough. She said that people on forums were looking for ways to make money. Will try and listen again on BBC iplayer later and will note any good points

thats a bit unfair
i have a big family and often buy alot of one item
won't lose anything by ringing CS
if not why not return them?
Sorry I wasnt trying to sound unfair I have a large family too so the DTD is helping feed the hoards. Im just saying how sometimes Tescos update their prices at the till and not on the SEL so you don't always know whether your going to be succesfull on getting the most out of the DTD price check thing.
Because of this I usually only buy what I need and don't go out buying 10 or so of things just to get back the most money out of the pricechecker.
Hope you've managed to find some good deals for the family. :j0 -
If everyone who expected one last Friday but had to wait until Saturday then that will probably mean no vouchers until tomorrow morning.0

"We commend their ingenuity, but this isn't why we set up the guarantee."
