Did 2 big shops today with one £76 voucher, and one £52 voucher, stocked up on food (shouldnt need another week shop for 2 weeks now:):) no probelsm at all, made sure i had enough DTD items so i get £20 back on each shop (2 x wine on 1 shop & muller, kellgos bakes, eggs, detol spray & muffins on another

No problems at the till at all, both very friendly :):)

i have one more £32 voucher than i am going to get rid of tonight, £20 on DTD items and £12 on more food i SHOULD have 3 x £20 DTD vouchers for additional shops

1 good thing thats come out of this is maybe i can limit my tesco going to twice a week instead of every day!!! .:rotfl::rotfl:
  • Hello all - hope everyone is feeling a bit calmer by now. I was with you at lunchtime when we got the £20 voucher. I phoned CS and spoke to a helpful lady who then put me onto her manager who then went on to accuse everyone of ripping off Tesco. I asked him what I should go he said he didnt care so I said I think I will just take everything back and get a refund - please yourself he said. I did this within 10mins of the call so have now missed out on the real value of my voucher. I phoned CS back and they said tough luck. I suppose that part of me is slightly relieved to be out of this process and it was very stressful and my first attempt at dtd.
Many thanks to everyone on here who moved this forward - you are all my heroes x

If we assume T are going to apply a £20 voucher limit after they sort out the mess they have got themselves into over their "terms and conditions".............

Asda are going to have a field day with their advertising...........

one can almost see the full page newspaper ad now, something along the lines of............ a receipt for a very deliberately chosen "general shop", with advertising copy of

"You may get a "double the difference voucher" back from Tesco Price Check(*1)............... but even after using the Tesco voucher you would still have been cheaper going to Asda"

small print of......... (*1) subject to detailed terms and conditions as shown on www.tescopricecheck.com

This may well end up being a marketing disaster for Tesco!!

Tried that earlier no luck as I had spent my £20 voucher, then came home and it was up to £34.

ok peeps i need some urgent advice
i'm planning on getting rid of my £50 voucher tonight

advice please on plan of action to get a £20 DTD back

if i buy about £20 of DTD stuff thereabouts and £30 of BOGOFS and deals -would the deals negate my total DTD or is that only if the specific items are cheaper in asda and so the overall difference of the shop is affected??

obviously would put whoopsies in a seperate shop,

don't want to spend whole voucher on normal shopping then put more money in(would rather not give tesco any of my hard earned cash unless i have to!)

just wanting some help with best strategy for counter attack:D

has anyone had a decent DTD on DISHWASHER TABLETS recently?

I have only got 3 tabs left...must be all the wine glasses I have washed over the last week ;)

Am catching up so apologies if this has already been answered. Best deal is to print out the £5 quantumatic voucher for a starter pack. It's reduced to just under £5 in Mr S. Tesco was price matching it but I have looked in three stores now and they seem to have pulled the packs, though they are still selling the refills. NB this is not a DDT item!

Had minor heart attack in meeting today. Spotted that e-mail had come through on iphone so clicked it. Saw the word 'sorry' and thought that last night's (expensive!) shop had gone down the drain!!! When I recovered, realised that actually it was confirmation of a DDT voucher, thank goodness. No idea what happened in those minutes in the meeting...
