DTD is on total shop so you need to buy items which are the same price in asda or more otherwise the BOGOFs will adjust your DTD, use mysupermarket to switch betweenbaskets and get an idea on how to get it so tescos costs just £10 more than Asda so you get your £20.
excellent idea
not actually used my supermarket yet as been checking indiv sites
are the prices on there pretty up to date?GRATITUDE WHEN GIVEN, PATIENCE WHEN DENIED
Please press the thanks button when someone has helped!0 -
there's your problem.
yep and the first time to try it.....wish i hadnt got sucked in to the greed of it all and stuck to what i was doing but a little voice in my head told me to follow the crowd!!
can i just ask why some are in such a rush to spend vouchers issued before today though?? as i read it those vouchers are still valid as its only capped for shops done from today onwards....please correct me if i'm wrong!0 -
Thanks to all of you who acted to get this most recent abuse corrected. I entered two receipts on Tue night before Tesco even decided to change their T&C yet again but when I went to print today they were capped at £20. How dare they? CS said it was a glitch, more like Tesco not honouring its own promotion. Thankfully I've just been able to print the corrected value vouchers. Will use one tonight.0

i spent over £90 in tesco on monday and know for a fact asda is loads cheaper.but when i put the rct details in it said tesco was cheapest!!!
It's the whole shop, so if some things are cheaper at Tesco and some cheaper at Asda the differences can cancel the dtd out. you have to choose items you know to be more expensive and pay for them separately. The devil makes works for idle hands0 -

works on all except normal coke (so works on diet, zero, and coke cherry)
asda doesnt seem to do 8 pack of regular. perhaps due to stocking 15 can packs.0 -
Not sure if its already been said regarding the voucers,
Legally Tesco has to honour any voucher that was issued before they changed the terms and conditions at the correct price, any till receipts submitted for vouchers submitted after the terms and conditions where changed are subject to the new terms and conditions0 -
Does anyone know how they are keeping tabs on the £100 per month limit, if they are? Or are they just expecting people to adhere to it themselves. I would have thought that if they accept the vouchers at the till then it is a done deal and they have no comeback, I might be wrong though. Anyone??????????????The devil makes works for idle hands0

if i use mysupermarket and order my shopping to be delivered by tesco n make sure its dearer then asda by £10 i will get £20 bk
is this right?
is it best to get deliveyed or shop in-store??0 -
I have just done an online shop at Tesco to use my £110 voucher. Bit nervous though as i have to pay for the shop in full and then the driver takes the voucher and then tesco refunds me the voucher amount. Have just spoken to Tesco customer service and asked what proof do i have that i gave the driver the voucher and they said i get nothing to prove it. Maybe i should photocopy the voucher and get the driver to sign it. Has anyone else had any problems getting their refund from online delivery shopping?0

i think current advice is that if you have a £20+ voucher then it would best to use it now rather than later.
after all, if tesco temporarily changed their t&cs today, then who knows what they'll do in the future.:grouphug:Official MSE canny forumite and HUKD VIP badge member
