Have a look at this, and print off a copy!! Take particular note of nomber 10!!!. This is still up on the pricecheck homepage now. Get printing people. It reinforces the 'There is no limit on the vouchers, other than the fair usage limit.' terms.

  • Gah, don't know what to say really! I knew that it was too good to be true and tesco wouldn't have allowed it to continue for ever but how underhand and sneaky!!!!!!!!!!! The two vouchers I was due today were only worth £30/£35 each and have been recycled a few times but still, its the principal! I entered the details last night and agreed to the t&c's when ndividual vouchers were limited to £100.

I understand why tesco have changed there t&c's but I believe that all receipts entered prior to the change should be honoured upto the maximum of £100. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

How fantastic, ant find any of my receipts either. I can't return a bottle of wine tht had a tiny crack in it that has leaked all over the car either as the cashier kept the receipt. If I could return the faffing nivea and the a bottle of wine i could have my satnav and be done with them

    They can't do that..

Just spent a £40+ one (literally 10 mins ago - 13:09 on the receipt) and no problems at all at the till. But I'd advise to get out quick "just in case"

The thing that surprises me is that everyone seems surprised...it was inevitable as it being abused so blatantly...£100 a month is excellent and at £20 , that's 5 shops a month, sems very reasonable to me...I read a post a few pages back were someone said they had been re-cycling their receipt...so they openly admit abusing the system and wonder why Tesco have decided to do something about it.Sorry if this upsets most of you, as I'm the first to post in favour of Tesco's new T&C's ,you really can't blame them for changing them....I've used it to my advantage twice so far, and have 1 to use,all were shops under £30, and no alcohol, used Tesco credit card to ensure I get my points, don't mind them knowing it's me, and I'm well under the £100 limit which I always intended to stick to ...not being smug here, just my opinion, and we are all entitled to our own views, I'm not slagging anyone off and don't expect to get slagged off in return.. it seems that Tesco aren't as bigger fools as a lot of people assumed they were...be honest ,the way it it was going we all knew it would not last...

Are you saying you feel its immoral to recycle the reciept? To clarify, by recycle I understood people to mean "use a DTD voucher to buy stuff that in turn gives you a DTD voucher".

All they are doing now is opening themselves up to fraud, peed off customers will print a couple of vouchers, hope their receipt doesn't get signed and do it all again until they get the amount back they were supposed to...

Spoke to consumer direct who stated that at the time I inputted my receipt I accepted their terms and conditions which at that time was up to £100.00. He stated to write to them informing them of this and that if they do not pay up I can take them to a small claims court shouldn.t think they'd like that publicity much.

found it post 4930 by me The Tesco Price Check Terms and Conditions

    Price Check Comparisons

    1. Price comparisons for in-store purchases are based on what the customer actually buys. This includes price reductions and promotions (such as "half price" and "buy one get one free") but not store or category wide promotions such as “buy 6 bottles of wine and get 5% off” or linksave promotions (such as "buy cheese and get crackers free"). These are excluded as it is difficult to make fair comparisons. Products that are purchased on a "reduced to clear" basis will be compared at the price paid at till.
    2. Price comparisons for orders made online are based on what the customer received and paid for.
    3. Price data used for the Tesco Price Check is obtained from daily web scans of the Asda Home Shopping site.
    4. If prices are found to be different across the website postcodes sampled, we have used the most commonly occurring price.
    5. All comparable grocery shopping is included in the Tesco Price Check (see paragraphs 6 and 7 below).
    6. Only branded grocery products that are identical or very similar own label grocery equivalents are included and compared. For own label products to be included we have tried to ensure the equivalent own label product meets the same needs or is intended for the same purpose.
    7. For example, we may:
      1. Identify the key characteristics of the products including flavour, and whether it is organic, Fairtrade, low fat, or eco-friendly ensuring that they are not matched in a way that gives any retailer an artificial advantage.
      2. Where products differ in size, weight or volume, ensure that this difference does not favour one retailer over another.
      3. Compare goods where there is no more than a 10% difference in size, weight, or volume.
    8. The Tesco Price Check is made against comparable grocery shopping only, as defined above. It does not include any non-grocery categories whether available in store or online or any in store concessions.
    9. Only grocery products that are sold on Asda’s Home Shopping site are included and compared against in the Tesco Price Check.
    Price Check Website

    1. The Tesco Price Check website will be updated with Asda prices on a daily basis for customers to check their receipts against.
    2. Where the item is not available for comparison on the Asda Home Shopping site, the product is shown as 'not available' (N/A).
    3. All prices obtained for Asda are believed to be correct. On rare occasions however, due to the number of prices being checked, there may be some inaccuracies.
    4. For a comparison to be made, your shop must contain at least 1 comparable grocery product.
    5. The difference in price shown between the comparable grocery products in your shopping at Tesco and the equivalent shopping at Asda will be the total price for all comparable products in the basket.
    6. Only Tesco Extra, Superstore and Metro formats are included. Products purchased in an Express, Petrol Filling Station or Homeplus store are not included in the Tesco Price Check.
    7. Valid email addresses are required so that we can inform you of the results of the comparison. Tesco are not liable for an incorrect entry of email addresses.
    8. Customers should receive details of comparison results by email within 36 hours.
    Claims and Vouchers

    1. Claims can only be made online via the website http://www.tesco.com/pricecheck.
    2. Claims must be made within 28 days of purchase (for in store purchases), or within 28 days of the date of delivery, if bought online.
    3. Price Check vouchers can be redeemed either in store or against an online Grocery order, irrespective of whether the original purchase was made in store or online.
    4. To use your vouchers in store, vouchers must be presented together with your original receipt and can be redeemed off the cost of your next shop at the checkouts. You must retain your original receipt as vouchers are not valid without the original receipt. Photocopied receipts will not be accepted.
    5. The number of claims is limited to 10 per calendar month per household and the total amount that can be claimed is limited to £100 per calendar month per household.
    6. Vouchers must be used within 28 days of date of issue.
    7. Vouchers can only be redeemed against transactions of an equal or higher value than the voucher.
    8. Only one Price Check voucher may be redeemed per transaction. Price Check vouchers cannot be redeemed against purchases of petrol, lottery, tobacco, infant formula, caf!, pharmacy, gift cards and mobile phone top up.
    9. Vouchers have no cash value. No change will be given. Copied, damaged or defaced vouchers will not be accepted. This voucher is and shall remain the property of Tesco Stores Limited and is not for resale or publication.
    General

    1. We have the right to withdraw the Tesco Price Check at any time without notice.
    2. Where we suspect that any false or fraudulent claim is being made, we reserve the right to withhold and/or refuse payment.
    3. Tesco employees are entitled to use this service. All price comparisons will be made after your Privilegecard discount has been applied (if used

    Hi Nutty
Do you still have the A4 paper that your voucher was printed off on? If so, this will prove that the T&Cs didn't change when they said, as there is a URL on the bottom of the printed that is also dated.

Yes, there's a date on it of today's date, the time was on my printer as last doc printed at 10.43 but no time on actual printout :)
