Surely this point legitimises absolutely anything they could choose to do?

I like my dads attitude - got him 8 bottles of wine last night - just told him about the voucher today and he said "that's not a problem, take the wine back and we'll got to Morrisons or Asda" - lets all do that!

I agree with the others, as i said before, we all knew the fallout was coming we just didnt know when and we didnt know how

the way i see it you have a couple of options (heres what i would do if it were me) (but do it NOW ASAP!!!!)

    * if u should have had a higher vocuher and u only got £20 then take ALL your stuff back and say that 'matthew' at ho cs told you it would be ok, and stand your ground claiming THEIR price checker told you it would be cheaper in asda so youre going there STAND YOUR GROUND

    * if you already have a high priced voucher then go to the shop NOW as in ASAP and spend it then if you face opsosition in the store then argue as the value is printed in black and white - they will eventually concede - you have the terms and conditions when u entered into the agreement and the value in black and white - DO NOT back down and keep saying loudly CHEAPER IN ASDA until they agree to authorise to get you out the store STAND YOUR GROUND

    * if you wanna keep playing them at their sneaky game then just do shops that make up £20 dtd and try your hand at recycling if your brave

    * or quit will your ahead and say you got alot of stuff for not alot of money and it was fun while it lasted but now youre back to asda smartprice :)

me! i said earlier i will buy 2 bottles of turner wine @ £9.99 something small to take it over £20, and get £20 back, free wines free wine at the end of the day
  • All they are doing now is opening themselves up to fraud, peed off customers will print a couple of vouchers, hope their receipt doesn't get signed and do it all again until they get the amount back they were supposed to...

No, they are not 'opening themselves up'.. If anyone does that then they can be prosecuted...fraud is fraud ...
  • Just spent yesterday's voucher for £66.12 - needed superviser approval but ok.

Also got a £20'r this morning should be £31.06 - complaining shortly.

I've still got a voucher for £69 to use - gonna go and use that this evening along with today's £20 (different store) which i'm not gonna argue about cos it was a £43 shop and i used £39 of DTD vouchers. Got more important things to worry about - lets all go to Asda lah lah lah lah

One thing to note, if you have your voucher over £20 and haven't cut it from the A4 paper, then look at the top left, it has the date on it, thus proving which T&C's you were working to.

Maybe only a minor point, but might be worth keeping it on the sheet.
I didn't do it, nobody saw me do it, you can't prove a thing! ;)
    Quidco and Topcashback, £4,569
    Shopandscan, £2,840
    Tesco Double The Difference, £2,700

    British Airways EU261/04 Claim, EUR1200

I have sussed out how to prove when I entered my details etc, even though I DID NOT PRINT UNTIL TODAY aggggghhhh.

The voucher is valid for 28 days only, mine came through on monday, and is valid until 18/04, and so this was before the T&C's changed, even though I printed today (silly silly me) the voucher is 28 days from the email date........

Not that I can do nowt about it, but am fuming, It was only small shops I done and not huge ones, but feel that should only change the vouchers from today onwards etc.
