Has everyone been receiving e-mails after price check results? I haven't received any e-mails but waited more than quoted 36hours so input details again and voucher was there?0

i might be a bit stupid, but dose this mean the new terms & conditions are basicly the same but just stricter as long as you stay within the £100 & 10 recipts within 28 day period.
If a store sells electricals can you then use your voucher on those as your not ordering from tesco direct?

Say I do a shop of 6 bottles of Turner Road wine. Wouldn't it be quite difficult for them to argue that I had abused the system. Couldn't I argue that I like this wine, and as it is a better deal to get 6 bottles (5% off discount) that's why I have got that amount? Surely, their 'abuse' would be hard to apply IYSWIM.0

Oh your joking, one of mine is because of the wine...
Does anyone know if i can still get a refund for the wine i bought on Sunday then and i'll go and get some at Asda instead?
I have received a refund on wine in the past. I have just bought 5 bottles of Turner Road - as it was the only thing I bought, I should get more than the total on the receipt back as DTD. I will try to spend this voucher ASAP once it comes through, and return the wine if it doesn't work. I now intend to spend all my remaining vouchers on 'normal' shopping and try to back off from the system for a while (well, until tomorrow at least!)0 -

Wine should be safe. They encourage you to buy six bottles and of you like a wine you'll get six of the same one.
Remember the receipt is your property, they can't take it from you or deface it without your permission.TESCO EVERY LITTLE change to the t&cs HELPS0 -
It's very simple, what Tesco have realised is that with the single item pricechecker, they've effectively set themselves up to us the abusers in giving us the perfect tool to trawl and work out the best way 'on a plate' of finding individual products to 'hammer' them with. It never ceases to amaze me that the marketing types in their Ivory Towers with boozy expense accounts come up wity these madcap schemes wide open to abuse, then sit around and scratch their heads afterwards and wonder where they went wrong, not streetwise you see like 99% of the 'common' Tesco workers below them who could have all told the marketing types it was destined for failure and abuse from the outset.
It won't stop (just yet), we'll all just have to work a bit harder to find the bargains manually on two websites instead of the nice pricechecker people conveniently giving it to us on a single, pretty blue, white & red plate.
Oh how ASDA & Sainsbury's must be pi****g themselves silly at Tesco's stupidity and lack of thought and street savvy.:rotfl:
Normally i'd agree with you but the current chief exec started working for them at 14 stacking shelves so to be fair he's not exactly a silver spoon import to the board room and he's worked in just about every dept (which kinda makes this screw up even worse lol)0 -
As someone who was picked on for too many RNRs and that included a banning from Tesco stores, I'd suggest not using your Clubcard (or have a couple of them) and paying cash where possible.
Every little helps!0 -
I spent £204 at weekend in prep for a dtd voucher for April. The voucher is likely to be £100 as bought the Pinot (6), hardys crest (2), roasting tins (2) and lamb (2) in amongst my normal shop. Looks like it'll be refused now- I'll be gutted if I have to return the wine! LolPlease remember to thank fellow MSE'rs :beer:0

i can't spend my vouchers til the 1st but i think i'll spend them on a normal shop and get them gone, i think basically were gonna have to do mixed shops, so things we need mixed in with dtd really it's gonna take abit more research to make sure the stuff not dtd isn't dearer in asda thoDEC GC £463.67/£450
