When I was shopping today with a £17 voucher on goods purchased total value 18 pounds the cashier took my receipt and voucher she said it was ok as the value of the voucher was less than original shop and they would no longer be accepting vouchers with greater amount than original shop. For example spend 50 pounds and get dtd for voucher for £55 so just a word of warning
There is nothing in the T&C's that confirm this, I am going to print them off and show them if mine is refused....My voucher is for £2 over the receipt , but I am still under the £100 for the month..I have used my Tesco credit card , so am not hiding anything and expect it to be honoured with no hassle as I am within their T&C's .....will def complain if they give me any probs...and they cannot keep my receipt either, they can mark it as much as they like, but cannot keep it under any circumstances as I need it to staple to my statement....have done this for the last 40 years and have every credit card slip filed neatly away stapled to the statement...can lay my hand on a credit card receipt very quickly for things purchased years ago....was very handy when I claimed for a camera I lost which I'd had 25 years....

i'm still up for it! who's with me?

I have got one £67 voucher and one £23 voucher. Gonna use the £67 to do a normal shop, but the £23 I am gonna do another DTD, and keep going until they stop me, but I'm guessing that the new terms regarding abuse will soon stop you being able to use a DTD voucher on a receipt that you have already used DTD on.

But I'd be happy to do a DTD the shop with cash then do a normal shop, better off in some ways doing that

it really will depend on your store - certainly over the next few days.

Well i'll try our smaller store first as the the larger one are a bunch of jobsworths and treat you as though you're asking for the moon if you come in with any voucher...

Didn't need to do a big shop tomorrow but there are a couple of household things we need so might have a poke around there....

Does anyone know if the 'only redeem one voucher per day' rule is already in force? I'd like to spend a couple of them today in separate transactions but will be mortified if anything goes wrong. Don't think I'm cut out for life in the DTD fast lane!

If you don't use a clubcard how are they going to know?

"...the spirit of the scheme..." Hmmmm.

Would that be the Bacardi, the Baileys or the vodka?
    Hope is not a strategy.
