Also, I don't think anybody should worry about the terms, as in what they will do if you are caught 'abusing', they are not the 'law'. I think the worst that could happen is they refuse your voucher and ban your IP address or something like that.

I have done 2 today! First shop I used £40 voucher and bought clothes and nappies using the £5 off £25 leaflet they are giving out in store! Second shop I used a £32 voucher and bought 2 turners, nivea and herbel essences! No problemo! Still not even checking the receipt!

I think she was just making it up as she went along.

i dont think so she spoke to the next door cashier and he gave her a file to look at and she said it she accepted the voucher fine but it was the comment she made about it being less than the original she read it from the folder out loud

As someone who was picked on for too many RNRs and that included a banning from Tesco stores, I'd suggest not using your Clubcard (or have a couple of them) and paying cash where possible.

    Every little helps! :)

as time goes on and staff get more familiar with the voucher process it will get easier at the moment though it seems every time I use one it requires someone being called for assistance, which isn't the best wat to stay under the radar...I'm hardly the most inconspicuous of people as it is.

Don't see how they can do that as the "old" vouchers would have been under the original terms and conditions which AFAIK did not preclude that from happening I think Trading Standards would get involved under those circumstances especially if enough complained about it. Sure from now on in maybe as they've tweaked the terms but before that I imagine they've got to take them really

I also came across that today. My voucher was for £67 and the original shop was £69 so the accepted the voucher. But they made a point of saying the value of the original shop had to be higher than the voucher value.

i might be a bit stupid, but dose this mean the new terms & conditions are basicly the same but just stricter as long as you stay within the £100 & 10 recipts within 28 day period.

Spoke to a manager in Tesco today he said before this started they were expecting vouchers of maybe up to about £20 a time, most in his store this week were £10ish. So he nearly had a heart attack when i said mine was over £60! I hadnt got the heart to tell him i'd alrady used another big one!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

but I'm guessing that the new terms regarding abuse will soon stop you being able to use a DTD voucher on a receipt that you have already used DTD on.

Certainly a possibility, but a very bad public relations exercise. Just suppose that you buy a bottle of wine for £9.99 and then receive a voucher for £9 which you spend on £9's worth of cornettos. Can Mr T really try and stop this? The staff do not know what the £9 voucher is for.

Well i did 3 shops one after another just split it really all DTD but I will be giving one of the vouchers to my nanna, using one for half DTD half normal will make sure the difference between A and T is small on the none DTD items and will be doing a 2nd shop with all DTD items (if my vouchers come though tomorrow, please let them lol)

I haven't had any problems so far, had my receipt signed once and checked a couple of times, other times nothing. Hoping the woman that said about the initial shop being lower was wrong as all my vouchers should come back at higher amounts only by a few pence but still!
