Don't see how they can do that as the "old" vouchers would have been under the original terms and conditions which AFAIK did not preclude that from happening I think Trading Standards would get involved under those circumstances especially if enough complained about it. Sure from now on in maybe as they've tweaked the terms but before that I imagine they've got to take them really0 -
It's very simple, what Tesco have realised is that with the single item pricechecker, they've effectively set themselves up to us the abusers in giving us the perfect tool to trawl and work out the best way 'on a plate' of finding individual products to 'hammer' them with. It never ceases to amaze me that the marketing types in their Ivory Towers with boozy expense accounts come up wity these madcap schemes wide open to abuse, then sit around and scratch their heads afterwards and wonder where they went wrong, not streetwise you see like 99% of the 'common' Tesco workers below them who could have all told the marketing types it was destined for failure and abuse from the outset.
It won't stop (just yet), we'll all just have to work a bit harder to find the bargains manually on two websites instead of the nice pricechecker people conveniently giving it to us on a single, pretty blue, white & red plate.
Oh how ASDA & Sainsbury's must be pi****g themselves silly at Tesco's stupidity and lack of thought and street savvy.:rotfl:0 -
OMG, I have 4 unspent DTD vouchers of varying amounts - think I'd better start using them before it all goes pear-shaped - will be totally gutted if they are not accepted and it turns out I have paid full whack for all those overpriced goods :mad::eek::eek:

Can anyone help re the Nivea - the 400ml being sold in Tesco at the ridiculous price of 5.21
I noticed today that on the website, there is a little pink label on the bottle. Instore, the bottles were exactly the same except for no little pink label. Is it definitely the same one????
Thanks in advance.Shop one - A vs T
Shop two - A vs W
And then repeat :j:j:j
& now add - A vs S
What the heck A vs the world :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0 -
i might be a bit stupid, but dose this mean the new terms & conditions are basicly the same but just stricter as long as you stay within the £100 & 10 recipts within 28 day period.0

I think because of the new terms, it would be a good idea to do a small ish DTD shop, say £20 worth, avoid BOGOF's as it does seem suspicious only getting one. Then if you get questioned as to why your voucher is roughly the same price as the original spend, they are more likely to believe it was just a lucky coincidence lol
Also I'm gonna start doing a DTD shop with cash, then using the voucher on a normal shop, then repeat. TBH you get more value for money using your voucher for normal shopping0 -
Just back from another (hopefully) successfull shop. Just to mention that the airwick electric (T-£6.10, A-£3) has a £1 off voucher inside. It says it is just for refills but it does work on another plug in and you can use more than one. I just bought one at £6.10, used 2x £1 off coupons so cost me £4.10 and expecting £6.20 DTD, £2.10 profit!!!!!
none in my 4 boxes, but i think I have got the old style packaging as different to internet picture0 -

not really, because a selected dtd shop could be classed as 'abuse' of the offer - therefore your voucher may be rejected.:grouphug:Official MSE canny forumite and HUKD VIP badge member
