Because they are cold and nasty!

I can honestly say I have never had any major issue with them but the majority of staff at my local are all horrible battleaxes, you can see they are just watching what their customers are doing, especially the supervisors! I never feel welcomed at Tesco, this is one of the reasons I don't go there.

Now the store which is about 10 miles from me is quite nice, but it's a huge store, maybe the smaller stores are more cliquey....I don't know but that is no excuse for the way some people are being treated!

Ours is the other way around, we shop at the smaller one in our city and the day we went to the big store and tried to use our Asda voucher i got a jobsworth supervisor who said we don't take those vouchers or any internet vouchers and who even said when i said i'd name the store to your customer services he said yes and you can give them my name. I think he might have lived to regret that! :rotfl:I have to say though Tesco did deal with it quickly and efficiently...

£50 that's all well and good but i'd have wanted the staff member sacked for something like that totally and utterly unacceptable

just got back from T and used my voucher to buy a couple more DTD things.
SA called over supervisor/manager and she said to me she'd seen them before and looked at the till screen then said, You've purposely got these things knowing they are more expensive in Tesco than Asda, don't come again with your reciept and don't input in the price checker, because we're on to you, we've had loads of people doing this.:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:
I was reallly running late so had to jst say errr...ok but did manage through her brawl to say what if I genuinely wanted these things ( I did and was going to buy most anyway!) she said yh but we're onto you!:(

I feel like she's accusing me of doing something completely wrong and because she was turned to the side I didn't even get her name!
Any help on CS e-mail address that would get attention?

    TIA
p.s. my cornetto must've melted too
p.p.s It was my first time using the voucher!

OH my, that is beyond rude. She should certainly be reprimanded for that and retrained. Are you willing to name the store?
Maybe it's time to go to the press with the way that Tesco is greeting it's customers benefiting for a scheme that they've promoted.

I think Martin Lewis is needed to clarify Tescos position in all this.

Tesco either have a promotion or they don't and what are the rules, are they being made up as they go along or do we refer to the T&Cs?
