It was for £50.xx and the things I bought were:
Comfort (we get through 3 loads a day!), deodrant (big family and need for hols coming up), moisturiser (hols), airwick (for home, mum always buys these anyway)

    How dare they!

Wish I had more time or I would have stood my ground!
Just send an email to both CS (their website has a special form for complaints, just enter the store code from your receipt) and Tesco CEO, sit back and relax, expect a prompt apology and some free Tesco vouchers for you. From my experience they respond quite promptly.

just got back from T and used my voucher to buy a couple more DTD things.
SA called over supervisor/manager and she said to me she'd seen them before and looked at the till screen then said, You've purposely got these things knowing they are more expensive in Tesco than Asda, don't come again with your reciept and don't input in the price checker, because we're on to you, we've had loads of people doing this.:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

that is NOT ON. wish you'd told her it's none of her !!!!!!! business. please do try and go back and get her name. and write a stinking complaint letter to tesco. tesco CS are fairly decent with their email replies at least and usually offer compensation for their badly-behaved staff. i'm pretty certain they will send you a decent response and this way the dragon-lady will be be brought to task or at lesat flagged up for shoddy behaviour (hopefully). how blooming DARE she. jobsworth much? big hug to you!

I was reallly running late so had to jst say errr...ok but did manage through her brawl to say what if I genuinely wanted these things ( I did and was going to buy most anyway!) she said yh but we're onto you!:(

I feel like she's accusing me of doing something completely wrong and because she was turned to the side I didn't even get her name!
Any help on CS e-mail address that would get attention?

    TIA
p.s. my cornetto must've melted too
p.p.s It was my first time using the voucher!

That's insanely rude! It doesn't matter whether you buy those things all the time or just want to exploit the offer - it's none of the SA's business!

I work for a leisure company which has a big discount voucher offer on at the moment and when we had it last year, we had large groups with lots of photocopies of the voucher when it was meant to be one per email (although I think it has changed now). Annoying? Yes. But it's the company's offer and if a squillion people find a loophole or a legitimate way of getting as much out of the offer as possible then that's none of my business - and I would have probably been sacked on the spot if I spoke to anyone the way you were spoken to.

    Complain!

I think it's only a few, not the majority. I can hand on heart say I have never had a problem with a member of Tesco staff (except maybe the one who wasn't happy I had bought a Fame DVD for £3 and it came up at £6, but she wasn't that harsh on me - the shame of it though, I bought a Fame DVD).

Seems like some Tesco CS staff need retraining. Happy enough for customers o buy something when they think they're getting a good deal only to find out they've been charged much more than elsewhere. I'm using the DTD to try and stock up on things I'd not normally buy because they're too expensive. Stores cut prices on things as a loss leader to get you in and hopefully you will buy others at the same time. They can't then complain if people are exploiting an offer. For every person that exploits there will be 2 or 3 that get exploited.

    Evening all :0)

Quick question....Can you you the DTD voucher for an online shop aswell as using a xx--- £10 off £80 spend shop online??

I know you can give the driver the DTD voucher and they refund the money (are people actually finding this happens??)

I only ask as I was planning on doing an online shop because I had been sent a code and I have a DTD voucher to use.

    Thanks CC:D

It looks like PTS is back up and everything is fine. A word of warning, they are onto the person who says they re registered after being banned though.

How on earth does someone get banned from PTS?
